Canelo won tonight, not sure why so much whining…

I thought GGG clearly beat Canelo in the first fight but, it was like they switched roles for this fight and Canelo became the aggressor and clearly beat GGG tonight.

It was a great fight, both are true warriors but, staying consistent in my favoring the aggressor, which I do, they’re 1-1 in my book…

This has trilogy written all over it…That said, I think Canelo is getting stronger at this weight and GGG might be aging a little…idk how these wars won’t take a little something out of both fighters…

Regardless, I appreciate seeing two atg fighters willing to put it all on the line and going at it as these two do, truly a spectacle of two iron wills. My greatest respect goes to both fighters.

 

Cant give that proven drugs cheat, plaster wrapping judge bunging criminal the level of credit you do.

But did you miss the thread that polled the result?
70% thought GGG won and so are majority of the ringside media.

 

Even if one thought GGG won it was close. There was no robbery.

 

Canelo won the second fight better than GGG won the first fight. No need to see a third, Canelo clearly wins that in spite of the GGG side-whining.

 

It's because a lot of people wanted GGG to win.

 

GGG won by 2 rounds on my card. I could see him winning by 3, or 1..but wow. Oscar strikes again. Anyone still supporting what he stands for needs to reconsider how they evaluate ethics

 

Yes I saw that poll and put my vote for Canelo. I’m not sure what to make of it, this forum is obviously not an unbiased group to poll from but, I don’t entirely discount those results, it was a close fight. And those results surprise me, I just know how I scored it, and I disagreed with the commentators as I watched it too.

 

If you are watching HBO, I disagree with how Lederman scored it too and not entirely agree with Kellerman narrative.
I rewatched it to score and come up with a draw. 7-5 either way is fine.

 

Even Ledderman said he had no idea who was winning. He needs to retire. He's shot as a judge.

 

I had Canelo winning based on he is the better younger boxer than GGG.I dont like using iage as an excuse. Canelo had to do what he had to do i give full credit for winning the fight you still have to beat GGG and he did so admirably.

 

He’s always been a little erratic but can say the same of almost anyone, it’s their opinion. I’m not sure who would be better, I know I would find fault with anyone I disagreed with…

 

GGG is the media and fan favorite so no surprises there. There's a lot of bias against Canelo who's portrayed as a villain.

Looking on other forums many GGG supporters scored it for Canelo or as a draw.
