James Degale returns 30th September in L.A

    Degale has tweeted he is fighting on the Ortiz/Molina under card in an 8 rounder in LA. He then says he has got something " nice and juicy " for us fans in December .

    What do you reckon ?

    My money is the under card of Wilder v Fury, possibly Benavidez with him and Degale both with Al Haymon.

    This one of the massive fights he was talking about?

    I Remember how smug he was after Groves just lost to Jack saying he would give him a 90/10 split, well how the tables have turned.

    Truly goes to show that life comes at you fast.

    If he's having a big fight in December then I don't see the problem having a wee ticking over fight in the meantime.

    Wonder who the December opponent will be? Badou Jack at light heavy? Eubank jnr? (If he beats McDonagh) Fielding for the WBA regular?

    Fielding would be my guess.

    I think Eubank is a good shout. Smith/Groves wouldn’t be ready then. Would Fury/Wilder sacrifice a large chunk of their purse to put Degale on their card vs a name?

    Could he be used to prop up a Hearn PPV? Eubank got one fight left with hearn or like you say Fielding could be a strong possibility on a Khan-Brook / Whyte-Chisora undercard.

    Can definitely see Fielding Degale happening for Whyte Chisora Card too add some pull with Degale still being a name.

    He has confirmed its not Fielding , I saw Eddie saying few weeks ago Degale wants to much money . Which I can understand he can make around a million fighting whoever on PBC shows in the states.

    Like I say I think it will be on the wilder fury card. Eubank fight possibly but who promotes that surely not another PPV in December and I can't see it being on the undercard of Whyte Chisora no way there is enough money in the pot to have them two fights on one PPV

    Hearn's confirmed it's not Fielding, as Sauerland have an option on his next fight and stated it's likely to be Abraham, Zach Parker or Feigenbutz for Fielding in December.

    Looks likely to be Eubank for DeGale I would say.

    Degale wont go near a live body imo...He binned his belt for that reason

    An 8 rounder on Molina undercard wtf!!!!!

    Expect the Bellew model of how to make some real cash on PPV......Pick a fighter ,doesnt really matter what weight,Create a beef,cash out....

    DeGale wont beat anyone decent at 168 now,he is shot to ****

    He has completely wrecked his career ...a year ago he was regarded as No1 168lb fighter and now fighting 8 rounders on a guff card....

    I dont see him beating anybody of any importance now

    Cant see him fighting benavidez if he won't fight uzcategui. Would like to see him fight eubank.
