    Great post
I enjoyed the fight and when it was over I expected canelo to be the winner even tho I had ggg winning
Don’t want to see another fight when ggg will lose again

I respectfully (and strongly) disagree with the entire vibe of what you're saying here.

How did you score the 2 fights, Robney?

Assuming they both look good and win the interim bout, I think that probably makes good financial sense all around for both Canelo and GGG.

Kinda like back in the day when Holyfield and Bowe had November scraps 3 out of 4 years.

I don't know why some of you are being so harsh on BHops. He's a promoter, he's supposed to be talking up the top dog in his stable, isn't he?

I was wondering that, myself. But at this point, I still think it's a lucrative route for both.

They'll look at the PPV sales before they decide to do a rematch. If they do a third fight, 15 rounds this time.

I just have a nagging suspicion that the negotiations will prove much harder for a 3rd fight.
Canelo doesn't need it as much as Golovkin does. Canelo risks a secured legacy and injury would have serious financial implications for Canelo. Right now he's even more of a cash cow for GB.

Canelo has never shown in both fights that's he's clearly better than Golovkin.
He was given every close round out of all 24 rounds. That's highly dubious and I can't support that.

After 24 rounds the best card Golvkin has received from 6 judgements is 115-113.
    That's utterly insane.

Both 115-113, but with more swing rounds in the 2nd. The first you would have to go out of your way to possibly score it for Alvarez, the 2nd it's quite plausible.
That's another thing that I think should be fixed in boxing, the inaccurate scoring system.
If you have a 12 rounder with the first 7 rounds extremely hard to score, and then one guy figuring the other out, dominating the next 5 almost stopping his foe, he can still legitimately lose the fight 7 to 5. Certainly when he's the "b-side".

What? Do you not think Canelo gets ridiculously favorable scorecards, Golden Boy and De La Hoya are corrupt as hell, BHop is a bitter salty old fart and that GGG wouldn't get robbed again? I don't think anything I said is all that egregious, those are pretty mainstream thoughts. IB and I cannot find more than six rounds to give to Canelo, no matter how hard I've looked, and I've seen it three times now, if that many logical people cannot find six rounds to give to Canelo, then yeah, its a robbery.
