In Rnd 5, they were all saying Golovkin is faded lol and implied the training in Big Bear was/might have been a bad idea, facepalm. Commentary was as good as horse ****.
Lederman sometime late in the fight while his scorecard had GGG on top by over 4 rounds was asked how he had it, his answer: " I have no idea who's winning"(or something to that effect.
The whole damn fight I had to listen how GGG wasn't taking any risks. GGG was going toe to toe straight from the gates. WTF are they talking about? Instead of enjoying a great fight and commenting on that, three rounds in Kellerman and Lampley started bitching about GGG isn't doing this, GGG isn't doing that. He's trading shots with Canelo, what the f@ck do you want? One round later (round 4) they were already speculating about the outcome of the fight. WTF??? Worst commentary ever. Both of them need to go, and they can take RJJ with them, he's useless as well. I'm trying to enjoy a great fight and all they are doing is distracting me. Completely ruined a great fight with their drivel. Pisses me off!
I didnt find it that bad. I mean Canelo fought a very surprising fight standing toe to toe with Golovkin and trading inside with body shots and solid power shots and did mark up Golovkin the most I've ever seen him bruised up I mean what Canelo did was very impressive considering the more negative strategy he employed in the first fight. I thought the worst HBO commentary was Pacquiao vs Bradley, Lampley was actually snapping at anyone who gave Bradley credit for anything and calling missed shots all night
Ledderman has clearly lost his marbles. His scoring was laughable when you fconsider in his history of praising guys who move forward.
I will gladly do some jail time if I got to cave Kellerman’s face in. Wtf is a story of the fight anyway?
Kellerman basically implied that because Canelo was holding the centre of the ring it meant he should win. It was complete nonsense.
Why? It means that he has completely taken one of the 4 scoring criteria. Ring Generalship.(Canelo needs to stay away from the ropes, he didn't go to the ropes he pushed GGG out of the center he usually commands) The other ones are effective aggression.(Canelo was the effective agressor GGG showed no agression) Defense(look at their faces after the fight) And clean effectove punching of course. Now the first 3 are not debatable. Let me ask YOU who do you think landed the cleaner punches. How about the harder punches? Do you think the average landed GGG punch was cleaner and harder than the average e landed Canelo punch?
The commentary, which I didn't hear, wasn't the biggest disgrace. The worst part was the hour and a half between the undercard and the main event. Amateur hour, unprepared bull****. I've never seen the like.
