To the people saying you can't beat Canelo on the cards, what if he didn't land a punch for the full 12 rounds like Bill did to Lemiuex?

I think people are overestimating Canelos judges. In a close fight he will get the decision. All you have to do is not make it close.

Saunders isn`t as good at landing shots as GGG is, GGG landed far more punches vs Lemiuex, Saunders didn`t even land that much, he doesn`t have te speed of Khan and would be hit by counters every time he punched at Canelo, he simply has never been in with anyone at this level.

Hasn’t Canelo said he won’t fight Saunders?

Saunders could outbox Canelo on his best night, it's a possibility however we can't compare Canelo and Lemieux, Canelo is far more skilled and a level above so even if Saunders can/does beat him it's likely going to be a lot closer than that fight.

And yeah Canelo will win on the cards.

    118-110 v Golovkin 1
    119-109, 118-110 and 117-111 v Cotto
    117-111 v Lara
    114-114 v Mayweather
    118-109 v Trout

I think it's safe to say Canelo is in the running for most absurd cards of all time.

Alvarez is a smarter fighter than Lemiuex, and Saunders is starting to get a little overrated. I happen to think BJS has the skills to beat Canelo, certainly 10x fresher legs than Golovkin does at this point. But he'd need to box decisively to get the decision.

I'm calling it now: Saunders will put on a clinic against Canelo and lose on the cards, that is if Saunders is foolish enough to agree to fight Canelo in Vegas.

He'll be active and that will be enough. He'd have to get Lacy'd to lose at the minute.

He's avoiding him like the plague. Billy-Joe is too slick, too gypsy. All wrong for him.

This. BJS has a lot of skill and has the footspeed and handspeed to neutraluze a lot of Canelo's counter punching. But, comparing Lemieux to Canelo is a big joke. Plenty of guys on Canelo's resume would make easy work of Lemieux. Besides punching power Lemieux brings nothing else at the top level. Lemieux doesn't have Canelo's chin, timing, defense, ring IQ, footwork, or counter punching ability.

    Big time.

Just look at Canelo's cv to Saunders. There is no comparison

If Saunders totally knuckles down he has a chance. He is a great talent. But he seems to spend most of his time making stupid videos and trying, but failing miserably, to be funny.

I think anybody would be "foolish" to not fignt Alvarez, Vegas or not. He's beatable and you'll get paid, no matter how unmarketable you are because he's A side. Worst case, you get ktfo like Khan. That would suck. But fight well and lose a decision to Canelo? Not a career breaking loss by any stretch as that has become expected now. Fighters want to make the most money possible, and the weekend's decision made no difference whatsoever to the line of guys wanting to get paid.
