against Wilder I might pick him, but not against Joshua who uses his jab and sets up his punches.

Full respect to AJ for taking tough fights. Povetkin is the closest modern style to Tyson. His right and left hooks are very eye catching.

    I don't think there is a result/outcome that's would surprise me..

Hmm maybe a Povetkin points win, it's here in the UK, I think Povetkin would have to win 11 rounds to possibly get a draw.

Anyway, I've said since it was announced I expect AJ to win but in my opinion Povetkin is a very live underdog, the odds of 7/1 for Povetkin to win by any method look large to me, actually a little insulting and he is 9/1 to win by TKO/KO.

I think the 9/1 is worth a couple of quid because it's just so large for an outcome I believe is very possible.

I thought Povetkin had a good chance but after reading Dubois's comment he has no chance

If Povetkin was five years younger, now its going to be incredibly competitive but AJ should win.

Parker was Displaying a pressure, angle punching, hand speed style that AJ seemed at a loss on how to deal with for those early rounds.

Povetkin, even in his late 30s, is Parker- to the second power.

Povetkin is a very skilled, durable pressure fighter that will bring more “bore his way inside your reach and drop you” skill than Joshua has ever faced. (Wlad was extremely skilled, but his reflexes were gone )

Povetkin is so much better than most seem to give him credit for.

Saturday will prove that. Mark my words

What! Klit hid him straight with a shot in the 6th that no one gets up from. AJ did (and I'm not a big fan of the roid boy).

So its PED vs. AJ ROID. Who has the better medicines.

Wlad was too cautious and shot to finish the job on AJ. Have much more confidence in Wilder and Fury's chins compared to AJ

Huge Povetkin fan. And once again I feel he has a chance. But I actually don't see the fight being that competitive. Either Povetkin knocks him out late after Joshua gasses or he takes a beating the whole fight however long that is.

For an Olympic gold medalist, it has been quite an underwhelming career.
It was a solid and fun ride til 2008. Then the ****ery started. (more info on BoxRec)
Then he beat Chagaev and again a ton of cherry picking.

And now finally came the big night vs Wlad! One of the biggest fights of the year. Complete disappointment from both guys.
And again just a ton of BS followed. Great 3 fight run post Wlad, but complete ****ery since.

**** poor career, all things considered. But luckily for him, he did make money, so it wasn't a waste of time.
