Fury schooled a younger and more active Wlad, and beat up a prime Chisora, which is as good as anyone AJ has fought outside of Klitschko so far.

Based on performances in their careers so far, Fury>AJ

If Fury had the Sky hype machine behind him and sponsors coming out of his ears putting him on every billboard and commercial, with Eddie Hearn doing round the clock podcasts on his behalf talking about how he's got the best resume out there, you'd see how much clamor for him there'd be and you would quickly get crucified for ever questioning him.

 

Right place right time against Wlad, then joins the long list of boxers with unfulfilled potential.

If Muhammad Ali's only great fight was the Rumble in the Jungle (an order of magnitude better than Fury vs Wlad), and the rest were against much lower level opposition, then how would he be remembered today..

It's a funny game, I think father time will retire Fury.
I doubt Wilder will soundly outbox Tyson F so a ko loss will be shaken off as a 'lucky shot' so to speak.
Those cynically claiming Fury is after another pay day are way off IMO, you don't turn your body and mind around as he has just for a bit of money.
I don't think Fury could walk away for another 10 years yet.
