At their prime who would win in a fight between Mike Tyson and Rocky Marciano?

Marciano had a light heavyweight frame. He fought at heavyweight because of the greater purses and fame. As he matured, he grew into only what is today a small cruiserweight. A big, powerful, and very good heavyweight like Mike Tyson would normally have been too much for him. Do you agree with this point of view?

Tyson is one of the worst opponents Rocky could face .Marciano could be caught and hurt early, Tyson at his most dangerous early. If Walcott and Archie could drop him in the first couple of round s ,then you can expect him to be seriously in trouble .Yes ,Marciano had a ton of heart when the going get s tough but I'm afraid to say he wouldn't get a chance to show his legendary Ball's in this match up .Short ,brutal ending imo here ,Tyson RSC 2

For one, Marciano didn't have a "light heavyweight frame". Marciano was built like an ox, he was just short, with short arms, and got down to a fine line of conditioning. And didn't have PEDs like Tyson

I've ran through this fight a billion times in my head.

    Advantages for Tyson:
    Faster
    Better defense
    More accuracy

    Advantages for Marciano:
    Better chin
    More stamina
    More heart

And I'd say their power is about the same. A big thing with Tyson was his fear factor, which wouldn't do anything to a guy like Marciano. My biggest fear is that Tyson, being a fast starter, would knock Marciano down enough or simply outbox and get a TKO early in. But if this goes to the deep end, it's Marciano all the way.

Most top heavyweights in the late 80s and 90s were on PEDs (Holyfield, Klitschkos, RJJ, Weaver, etc). They're boxers, not bodybuilders, they aren't going to look like Arnold just because they took a bit of HGH.

Also guys like Povetkin, Chrisora, Ortiz and Stiverne have been caught with PEDs, and they look a hundred times worse and perform a thousand times worse than Tyson or Marciano

Tyson Marciano is one of the most intriguing match ups.
I wouldn't try to guess the winner peak v peak, assuming they had the same physical development and training opportunities.

Do you subscribe to the Wass school of thought, that Cus had Tyson on steroids when he was a 200-lb 15 year old?

Yes, beyond the natural limit of muscularity, even with bodybuilding training.

No i think for the earlier parts of his career he was natty. I myself was 220lbs at 6'1" at 17 years old, the weight combined with the shredded-ness of his physique, along with the fact that he doesnt bodybuild, is what causes suspicion.

And again you ignored my earlier point. You dont need to look like you do steroids, to do steroids. Povetkin, ortiz, Chrisora, etc. Tyson's generation was known for steroid abuse

I do. Tyson is lighter now as a fully grown man than he was as a teenager, there or there abouts. If his build was natural, after retirement without the elite level training anymore id expect Tyson to be 17 plus whereas hes nowhere near that..Plus he showed repeatedly roid rage

How much does Tyson weigh now? Do you know anything about his diet or his lifestyle? The one thing I do know is that Tyson used to blow up between fights in the 90s when he was away from the ring and he'd have to train his way back down to 220. Wasn't he supposedly 280 or something when he got out of prison? Seems like he was a naturally big man who had no problem putting and keeping on weight during his physical prime.
