Whyte's loss to Joshua is 3 months short of 3 years ago. Breazdale's loss to Joshua was 6 months after that. Since that time, Whyte has had 8 fights of which he has won all. Breazdale has had 2 fights since then which he has won.

So you are essentially saying that Breazdale should be mandatory because he lost to Joshua 6 months after Whyte and despite being far less active?? You must be out of your frigging mind.

I'm not blaming Breazeale for Wilder's failings, why would I?

I don't understand how he got the status though, it doesn't seem to fit with the respective achievements of him and Whyte. I also have no idea who Molina had beaten to he anywhere near the mix.

    It looks dodgy.

Did you actually read it or just read the DAZN tweet?

He said he wants the fight and would take it as they both can make money but, suprise suprise, Hearn is lying about things.

This is becoming like the boy who cried wolf. Whenever Wilder and his team cannot answer a question, their answer is "But, but, but, Hearn is lying..." Get over it, Hearn's hasn't got a problem making fights. He offered Wilder more money than he has made in all his title defences to fight Whyte and Wilder has not bothered to reply.

Let me state it clearly, Wilder will never fight Whyte because he fears him and the WBC will therefore ensure that Whyte is never in a position to force Wilder into a fight with him. The WBC for some reason feels that it has to protect Wilder as for them, they feel that the publicity they get from having an independent champion from the other sanctioning bodies is worth more than the sanctioning fees that they would get from having an undisputed champion.

They are crooks as they are not interested in having the best or most deserving fighters hold their belt, only the one that provides them with the most money (the infamous Haymon side payments which all his boxers brag about)

Dillian Whyte is NOT a threat to Deontay Wilder.

Breazeale became mandatory after a series of fortunate events. Stiverne after his thrilling come off the floor win vs Rossy somehow earned an eliminator vs Povetkin for the WBC mandatory.

Then Bermane failed a test, then Povetkin failed a test, hey lets all fail a test yay!

So WBC mandated Stiverne/Breazeale for an eliminator. But Ortiz who was facing Wilder then of course failed a test and so Stiverne stepped in and the WBC to appease Breazeale made his next fight vs Molina a WBC eliminator.

So 3 failed tests and a bunch of bad decisions by the WBC saw Breazeale as mandatory ahead of Whyte.

I hear what you're saying 100% but Haymon and Finkel have been involved in some of the biggest fights in history.

All this imo is boxing politics and clearly Hearn coming to America. They can be conceding to him and by all accounts Hearn has gone down like a lead balloon over there.

I dont for 1 minute think Wilder is ducking Whyte as that text confirms but can't help but think this DAZN deal is a massive stumbling block

And this is the problem, massive praise for a guy who, to justify a 3 1/2 YEAR REIGN as champ has fought Luis Ortiz (not as you say seem to think the #3 HW, FFS the guy is utterly unproven at top level except as a loser) and some talk.

That's it. If all you want from a champ is a win over an unproven old man and some chat then I don't know what to say except that YDKSAB.

The WBC rankings are just a political game. On that I agree with you.

On Haymon, Finkel, etc. wanting to keep Hearn out of America as well, I also agree.

The thing is though that DAZN wanted to make an entry into the American market. Matchroom have already started that move. Boxing is the only significant sport that isn't closed down with existing media partners so DAZN and Matchroom got together.

I don't think it is going to be easy for DAZN to get the required market penetration quickly. However, the fact that both ESPN and Showtime are also going to app-based solutions is indicative that the DAZN approach is the correct one, or at least the one that the industry is going to at the moment.

However, Whyte has said that he would fight anywhere for his shot at Wilder. The money however is in the UK. All the DAZN issues are irrelevant if the fight takes place in the UK as no-one is pretending that a Whyte vs Wilder fight is a PPV in the US.

I dont know for certain but i would imagine DAZN have a deal that all matchroom cards are on there won't they? Especially one as big as Wilder v Whyte.

Again I have no idea but would seem strange if they don't.

Well **** man how interested are you really? This kind of goes back from before Wilder was even champion let alone Joshua or Molina or Dom fighting either. I'll do my best, but I really feel like if you absolutely want to know what went on you should use the wayback machine. Oh, and yeah, it's dodgy, it's sanctioning body BS bubba, it's always dodgy. I don't mean to defend the WBC or Wilder here. Dominick, obviously, has my sympathy but I don't mean to say the WBC was acting right when they put Dom in position either.

Alrighty, let's begin with some basics. You know the jist of the system right? Dude ranked below other dude beats other dude and takes a better ranking for it. Easy. Alright, what is the point of all these lesser belts? Stuff like EBU or the WBC Intercontinental, **** like that? Gets you an auto ranking. EBU champion must be in the top world ranks of the WBC. Must be. So fella wins EBU title without ever facing a single ranked man in the WBC world ranking and get ranked. I didn't mean to be patronizing if you already knew that I just dunno how much you know.

Okey doke, moving back to Molina. Molina was the USNBC HW champion a way ****in' long time ago. Like 2012 or some such. He loses to Arreola, Arreola's next fight is for the Vacant WBC. That's how Molina got in the mix. The next move Molina makes is to pick up the NABF. This gives Molina position enough for him to be a valid WBC vol. Wilder whoops Bermane, his next vol is, you got it; our boy Molina. Molina of course gets ktfo. Molina fights Adamek for the IBF Intercontinental HW title and wins it. This puts Molina in position to be a valid IBF vol. New IBF champion Anthony Joshua thinks yeah, I'll have some of that, and Molina gets ktfo again. So is the tale of how Eric Molina became a two time title contender and why around 2016 he was technically a good win to pick up even if the fans were not behind him.

Dominick's is a much shorter tale....that or I'm losing steam and forgetting major plot points to refresh on  Anyway Dom picks up the WBC Americas from Amir Mansour. Amir first got ranked sometime around 2011 I think off the back of a letter belt...lemme look it up...WBO NABO and IBF NA titles. Like with Whyte Amir had an automatic ranking but no mando claim. So he pushed toward becoming a mando and lost. He built himself, grabbed some letters to force ranking again and that when he loses to Dom for the WBC Americas title. Amir is not able to rebuild from here. Dom now has a letter belt auto ranking making him the perfect first defense for newly crowned IBF champion Joshua. Dom of courses loses.

Ok, stage is set. Now we all understand how Molina worked over letter belts to get into a valid vol position and won the defense lottery twice. We all understand how Dom got in position and won the defense lottery once. Before Dom and Eric matter though he have to remember Wilder's mando at this time is Povetkin. I assume you're aware of what took place and took a side. Either side you side with doesn't matter for this we just need to acknowledge what happened. Wilder-Pov falls apart, the WBC says don't worry Deontay, just fight Bermane again and we'll call it fair. Wilder KOs Bermane and his mando obligations for the next two years are met. Dom and Molina have an elim to establish a new mandatory challenger to the WBC. Dom wins, goodbye Eric.

Dom was ranked way up there is he ain't now, I'm pretty sure he was number one even.

Whyte wins a letter belt lining him up with Joshua. He loses. Whyte then fights for a few more letter belts, picks them up to get into position to win the king of the letter belts. The Silver guarantees you number one ranking and I'm pretty sure a unification too, but not a mandatory. Unis can be resolved differently and we can get into it if you like but for now just know what he has is a uni not a mando. Whyte and team misunderstand their position and cry about mandos. Dom's like bro, I been waiting. If you want to sit on ass come get it because I'm tired of waiting.

So yeah, a whole lot of ****ery, but no Whyte is not, was not, and can not be mando until the current mando is resolved. He's ranked number one because he's the silver champion. He's on track to fight Wilder because he's the silver champion. He is not Dom though and Dom or whoever takes his spot, the mando, does come first. It was named first.

best to my memory what with help looking up what I didn't remember, but there's so much going on and what have you I could have easily left out a major element........that was a lot of typing...better read this *******.

Perfect line up for Wilder and then Joshua in April.

If big, fat sloppy tub of goo Whyte had any stones, he could have fought Ortiz to become the WBC mandatory. But, of course, he bailed and then complained that he wasn't the mando. Just like he bailed after he and his puppet master lost the purse bid and were ordered to fight Pulev in Bulgaria for the IBF mandatory. Now, Whyte and his enormous, floppy man rack wants to fight Fres Oquendo. What a clown show.
