    next up!

    What a fight this is.

The best super middle in the world going up against a top prospect albeit a little older now. He’s still a prospect to me as he hasn’t reached his full potential.

Callum Smith is a very dangerous opponent and provides a much tougher test than Eubank. His sheer size and reach and great power he has make him a very dangerous opponent. I know he seems to have stagnated recently but I think he hasn’t been helped by opposition. I think / hope that Callum is one of these fighters that you see the best of when he’s in with better opponents and they don’t come much better than Groves! I just hope Groves himself is at 100% and we are in for a treat.

    WAR Callum!

    Smiths a bum.

Sad how this has gone under the radar.

It’s a great fight but because ITV seemingly only care about boxing for two weeks of the year it’s gone under the radar.

I don't rate Callum Smith that highly. I agree that he's stagnated, and I think he lacks that killer instinct to go on and be a force in the division. But he's not terrible and won't be an easy night for anybody. I think Groves beats him comfortably on points.

If he's 100% I'm going with Groves stoppage.

I do think Groves wont be able to man handle Smith the way he did with Eubank Jr because of Smith size but Smith I thought really struggled in the Skoglund fight in particular dealing with his Jab which is Groves biggest asset which he will find Smith with and he will eventually bring the right hand into play after which will lead to the stoppage.

Really looking forward to this. The fights just keep on coming. There’s great fights on every week now until like November. Looking like a great end to the year.

On this fight, I fancy Groves to win a decision. I think he has more weapons in his arsenal than Smith, and more experience at this level, despite the size disparity. Smith does have a nasty left hook to the body though, Groves will have to look out for that

Had too get that video in there as it’s hilarious from Froch

I think Groves is the best in the division and as long as he’s 100% after his injury he should win this comfortably, I see his jab giving Smith fits all night

I'm going for Groves to win cos he has a great jab and Smith has no head movement. Having said that if Smith comes out aggressive he does have good punching power especially to the body. Should be a good fight looking forward to it

Groves jab is one of the best in the game but how is it after injury? How is it against a bigger man? Callum really needs to up his game for this one but I think he can and via stoppage or retirement by Groves.

I'm a Groves fan but I think Smith stops him.

Shoulder injury = big red flag for any potential Groves backers.

We have seen with Toe Haye and De Gale real disappointing comeback fights as the body is simply not able to do what it done before.

Smith has never fought anyone even near world level.

In typical Scouse fashion he'll no doubt rob an undeserved belt off an injured Groves.

Pity about the under card, or lack thereof. This is a pick 'em fight for me, so many intangibles. I'm more of a Groves fan though and he has the big fight experience, so here's hoping.

Groves comfortably , too basic Smith I think Shane and Groves will be too clever and come up with a good game plan to comfortably beat Smith .
