A lot of people will disagree with this but for me mckrackens took Joshua as far as he can. He's gonna lose Joshua a fight before long. The constant strive for perfection from mckrackens starting to wear Joshua down. Its went from being Joshua's biggest asset to his biggest disadvantage. Mckrackens a good coach. But everyone has a shelf life. Joshua's at a stage now all you need to do is build his confidence up and let him go. Before now...its been all about keeping his arrogance down....keeping his eyes on the prize. Its got to that stage he's passed that point tho....its now counteractive to him. For the first time I can remember Joshua's went into a fight flat. From here unless he changes it up...the same motivations won't work for him.

It actually becomes counter productive. Robs a good calm knowledgeable voice in the corner. Its what he does in the training camp that's hurting aj. Its starting to affect his confidence. Worrying signs in the press conference. Talks of the pressure mounting walls coming in on him etc. Up till this point so far its worked. He got off with it last night. He won't forever tho.

 

I find Bellew very irritating. Even more so now that he’s an enormous cheerleader for Matchroom. I really hope Usyk beats him.

Any fool can see what Bellew is doing. He knows AJ is the biggest thing in boxing right now. So he's trying his hardest to always stay associated with him by any means.
