The right hands that were landed by Povetkin last night would have been landed by Tyson who was a much more aggressive than Povetkin, AJ was far too easy to hit to fighter a brilliant, powerful offensive fighter like Tyson, who had quick hands, he would opened AJ up easily, AJ was hurt in the first round by Povetkin and Tyson was one of the greatest finishers in boxing history it would have been all over there and then, Tyson had a much better chin than AJ does and he countered every shot thrown at him, Povetkin is a quick counter puncher but is nowhere near the level of counter/pressure fighting that Tyson was at, plus Tyson often set his punches up well wit the jab something Povetkin didn`t do last night.

Do you agree that Tyson would have been too much for AJ?

If Mike were to get hit by the punches that Povetkin got whacked with then he has a good chance of getting knocked out. Mike would have to brawl for 2 rounds and get out of there quick before Joshua could knock him out.

Tyson at age 38 got blasted out of the ring by a bum named Danny Williams.

He wouldn't stand a chance against Joshua, especially at the same age as when Povetkin fought him. Joshua would KO Tyson in fewer rounds.

No, not a chance. Im a big Joshua fan and i predict it would end in 2 rounds. I keep saying Joshua has a blind spot to these low thrown wide hooks like what Povetkin was throwing and prime Tyson would be bombarding Joshua with them from the start and Joshua would be able to do nothing but ride out the storm and he wouldnt of ridden it out, 1 would get around or through and then Tyson would smell the blood.

This is a weak era in the division, Joshua is currently king of it but put a prime Wlad, Vitali, Tyson or Lewis back into it and any of this current crop are getting nowhere near a world title.

The difference in size between Joshua and Tyson would be huge.

The difference in height between Tyson and Povetkin is 4 inches. The same difference in height between Joshua and Povetkin.

Would Tyson even be able to reach the 6’6 Joshua’s head.

Povetkin looked very prime Tyson-esque last night in patches actually. The difference was a prime Tyson was much more accurate and a much better judge of distance when he fought his way inside i.e. he actually landed punches.

I feel it would be like the Bruno fights tbh.

I don't like Joshua vs the Spinks, Tubbs, Holmes version of Tyson from 88. I think he's a live dog otherwise.

Have you ever watched a prime Tyson fight? Why do people keep bringing up height when discussing a prime Tyson when he beat up world class fighters and Olympic Gold medalists that towered above him.
