I do wonder how many other heavyweights in the division would of turned down Anthony Joshuas offer to fight him at Wembley for all his belts and 15 million. What other heavyweights are getting roughly 15 million a fight? And i did find a little hard to swallow Deontay slamming the offer as a joke when his best earning to date is only 2.2 million.

You also said 'couldve' so stop telling half truths and avoiding the word that you used. I have unedited proof and I quoted it on the start of that thread.

Deontay Wilder needs this PPV against Fury to be as successful as possible as the aim of it all is to come back to Hearn and Joshua in a much stronger position. He seems to think he is near enough the A side as it stands now and beating Fury on PPV pushes him past Joshua and into number 1 spot. It clearly doesnt but thats his mindset, dont forget it was only very recently he claimed he was the A side just because he is American.

Floyd vs Pac 2 on PPV in the same month for no doubt 100 Dollars is a massive fight and is going to put a dent in Wilders fight, with Wilder not being a PPV star at all at the moment and having to give away free tickets to his fights to make them look better its a big ask to then ask him to all of a sudden compete for peoples PPV money against 2 proven PPV stars.

I'm a Fury fan, and a bit of a Deonkey fan, too, but based on how entitled Wilder feels with the A side bs, I hope it flops big time.

Yeah, Jack Johnson should have been happy with the money he got before Burns when he fought Burns. So entitled.

I'm keen to see what numbers Fury/Wilder does, as Fury isn't a draw himself. He was earning pocket money in comparison to Joshua in all but one fight, his biggest payday being Wlad. That was £4m, so lets be generous and call that $6m, even then, most of that was hanging off the coat tails of Wlad. If this fight does 1m PPV buys at regular PPV prices, I will be utterly shocked. Even then, does that give them much more leverage than getting a 30% split at best?

They won't be great...they won't be putrid, but nothing to write home about. That said, AJ couldn't draw huge numbers fighting Fury either. What could/would draw huge numbers are the two fighting each other...the event, it could be sold and do well even though neither fighter on their own can draw that way.
