What is it exactly about Hughie that gives anyone the feeling that Joshua knocks him out? Parker didn’t land a single power shot, yet he almost knocked out Whyte and landed on AJ a few times flush.
It was a close fight and he demonstrated his devastating power against Sexton. Parker literally conceded defeat in the ring. Hughie didn’t just run against Parker he was landing jabs at will. Just watch what he does on October 27th to Pulev.
I am ****ing pissing my pants laughing when you said devastating power, now I know you are just taking the ****.
I like Hughie. Great fighter and prospect but there’s no chance in hell on a) Joshua vacating because of him before getting a chance to unify b) Hughie stopping him.
Not gonna happen soon....AJ is tied up for years now for the very reason to avoid Wilder Whyte Miller Usyk that is into 2020 by the time he has fought them by which time he may just have grown a pair of plums to fight Wilder
I love @CutThroatFade ’s enthusiasm about Hughie Fury. I agree that he would be an absolute nightmare for anyone to fight, including Joshua. He’s cut from the same cloth as Tyson Fury. Only earlier I was listening to 5live podcast where Eddie Hearn was telling them how awful Tyson Fury is to watch, he said he wasn’t entertaining or box office. Whether people agree with that or not, it was very telling. Hearn doesn’t want to try and sell the purist stuff on PPV, especially when AJ won’t be able to land clean on either of them. It would have people booing.
Exactly. It’s a nightmare fight for Joshua. As soon as the crowd start booing Joshua would be encouraged to up the aggression and then he’d be playing into Hughie’s hands. Believe me if you asked Hearn to name his one absolute nightmare opponent for Joshua he would say Hughie Fury.
Hughie Fury threw the fight against Parker- he absolutely boxed his socks off. I can't imagine H. Fury will develop devestating knock out power unless he starts eating Mexican Beef, however he still has a few years to properly mature physically which might add more power to his game. There's no way Hearn takes the fight with AJ
Joshua was a animal then. He was about attack, attack and attack. If he fought in a measured way, like he’s done recently, Whyte will be suffering another concussion against Joshua. Whyte is garbage he couldn’t knock out Robert Helanious, went life and death with Dereck Chisora who 4 years prior to that was knocked out swiftly by Haye. Joshua won’t go all out like he done in the first one, it will be a very boring drab fight.
