Fabrice Tiozzo-Virgil Hill II. Tiozzo was the larger man at that point in his career, and the three knockdown one round blitz was a real turn up. Tiozzo was never stopped (or indeed beaten) by any other fighter, and Hill dropped him twice in their first fight as well.
Agreed, a prime Lyle would not have had to worry about Ball. Even a creaking Lyle had him down in the first round. I was just holding to the subject matter of a fighter with a good jaw goin down against a light-hitter
If they'd fought 10 times, it'd probably have gone the distance on the 9 other occasions. Gotta give Nunn credit though. If it had been thrown by SRR, people would be calling it the perfect punch.
Lynn Ball lives in Dallas, TX. I will try to look him up, and see if he has any comments regarding his Lyle victory.
Joe Louis getting dropped by James Braddock. Gatti getting knocked out by Carlos Baldomir. Tua getting dropped by Monte Barrett. Helenius (never down before or after) getting KTFO'd cold by Duhaupas.
Yeah and being the 1 st rnd maybe he wasnt warmed up properly and just got caught in the right spot right timing.
You know kid, just reading your post shows you are a extremly casual fan who knows littleabout boxing. Joe Louis known for having a poor chin. The thread is called solid chins who got cracked by fighters who weren't know for being punches. Not guys with glass chins getting knocked down like they always do.
Can somebody ban you? Anybody who has to type a emoji to try to prove their point deserves to be banned out right.
