It is very strange some of the comments people are coming out with post Haye wins. Do people understand Haye was medically retired, and only came back to boxing due to needing a pay day? He was completely done. Bellew who doesn't have a great chin, was smiling at Hayes punches. This is a David Haye who in his prime ko Chisora, something no else has been able to do. He lost all his power, couldn't throw certain shots, legs had gone. When a boxers who career was built on power and athleticism loses both of them, they aren't a boxer anymore. People are talking about his form, and how he is a late developer etc etc. He has done nothing to prove that so far barring two cash cow fights against a cripple. It will be interesting to see how he fares against Usyk. I imagine outboxed and outclassed and he will return home to his wife and kids with another few mill in the bank, and spend the next 10 years kissing AJ ass on sky.
The nationalistic Brit propagandistic destruction of a highly skilled great P4P Champ and Olympic Gold Medalist all in an attempt to build up this self aggrandizing delusional loudmouthed douche nozzle of a joke has begun I see. You know, it is possible to like both guys and to hope the best man wins, no need to defame and denigrate someone and turn them into some villian in an effort to hype your man up. What is this? The WWE? You all need a heel. I hope Usyk viciously hammers Bellend senseless, literally beating him into retirement.
I don’t see where anyone has done that! All you see in this thread is respect for Usyk and every other thread for that matter! There’s just a few hopeful the Bomber can spark him out.
That handful is who I was directing it at, I should have been more specific. The loud minority from both sides of he ocean give the vast quiet majority of us all a bad name.
No, you were joking, its just a general vibe I've been picking up, its a lot more prevalent from the Brit posters in the General than over here. I was in a bad mood yesterday and probably overreacted. The one that pissed me off was the Jimmy Saville comment from the first page.
Bellew is obviously hyping his own power up but he’s got to believe he can change a fight with one punch otherwise what’s the point...and what’s the point of it being a PPV spectacle. He knows he’s going to get outboxed. Whilst I don’t believe he has power that can literally put every fighter he hits, asleep, he can give any fighter bambi legs and that’s all it takes for him to wade in and the ref to stop it.
Thanks for explaining, mate. Appreciated. Usyk has nothing but admiration on this section, including me. An absolutely amazing fighter.
Yeah, I like you, you're probably one of the most solid posters over here. Sometimes I shouldn't be so impulsive with my posting style, the shrapnel hits unintended targets sometimes.
