I get your assumption but you're waaay off base here. And I probably disagree with Reznick more than anyone on this forum (at least publicly, anyway), and I never hesitate to call out race when I think it's playing a role in something.

Anthony Joshua chooses to weigh 240. He is a natural 220 pound man. It is like saying because Jarrell Miller is weighs 300 pounds that mean that is his natural weight. He threw 50 punches in round 4 and was so gassed out that for the next 5 rounds the most punches he threw was 25. 2 rounds in a row Joshua only landed 1 power punch against a old Wlad.

Also kid George Foreman is 6'3. I don't mean what some sites say. I mean what he was measured. When he turned pro he was listed at 6'3. His last fight in his prime against Jimmy Young he was 6'3. His first fight back Foreman was listed at 6'3. I don't know why Foreman started lying about being 6'4. In any case Foreman is taller than Ali. Ali according to himself is/was 6'2 1/2

 

Joshua is a legitimate 6' 6". He has weighed between 242 & 254 lbs. in recent fights.
It is not honest to just use the lightest or heaviest examples of fighters to prove your point-or round up or down.

Marciano was 187/188 lbs. at his self-described best.
Yes he was too small to compete against at least the best larger HWs.
But no need to damage credibility by trying to reduce his size further.

COAL Lied by misrepresenting the facts, eg Lowery was not a middleweight, at 177 he weighed 3lbs less than the Rock. He fails to understand that to disagree with someone’s opinion is not lying, but misrepresenting the fact is the lie.

I actually don’t disagree that Mike Tyson would defeat Rocky Marciano head to head. I also don’t think that this diminishes Rocky Marciano stature or accomplishments. If the worst thing you can say about somebody is that someone in the future, benefiting from advances and developments,would be able to defeat them then by definition they are great.
Marciano is a fine example as to why head to head comparisons are limited. The most anyone can do is beat the best available competition and Rocky did that. I am agreement with white Italian icon Mike Tyson who also counts Rocky Marciano as an all-time great and does not put any stock in cross generarational “what if” debates.
