saw another thread on Pedroza and thought this might be a good supplement? https://www.ringtv.com/402803-best-i-faced-eusebio-pedroza/
Great read. Some of these "Best I've Faced Lists" turn up some eyebrow raising results, but this was all pretty much what I expected;
Pedroza was one of the best their was. Early 80' s he seemed to be on TV every few months, and was always fun to watch. Wasn't a big puncher but his technical skills, was off the charts, and his ability to foul without getting caught was legendary. Loved to watch him just too see what he would get away with lol.
I'd say with the chin selection he's just going by what happened in the ring with both. Maybe he feels he landed better punches on Lockridge and Mayor and tested them a bit more. Possibly feels he didn't land his best on Juan. We look at other fights and overall records and note what an awesome chin Laporte had and know how proven and elite it is.
