Holyfield wins via KO but not before getting rocked a few times

Holyfield would continuously counter Shavers right hand with quick combinations and win by KO in the mid rounds.

Evander could be caught, he could also be drawn in to a brawl where he always feels the need to reply or be the last one connecting in an exchange, Shavers could catch him, and if he does I don't know what happens but its not good for Holy. Different level all round by some margin, but I think Shavers style could bring out the bravado in Evander if hes hurt. Holy using his brain and boxing can beat Shavers and i'd pick a stoppage before 10

totally disagree. cooper came in for damiani and was regarded as Nothing more than a journeyman. Holyfield believed he could just go in and smoke bert in a couple of rounds.
he wouldnt be that careless vs shavers. he´d be on Point, never Standing still and stopping ernie in 10 onesided rounds imo.

 

Holyfield takes a competitive but clear decision with a possibility of stopping shavers late

 

I think Shavers always has a chance and he may be able to do what no one else had ever done and catch Evander early and knock him out. Unlikely though I feel Evander carries the fight and stops Shavers in the mid rounds.

 

He was going for it too much, forcing it imo and Cooper tagged him quite a few times down to it heavily..

 

If your only trump card is power, then you are probably not beating Holyfield.

You might have a chance, if you were a brilliant technician, who couldn't crack an egg!
