Neither are mega fights to be honest.

Joshua/Povetkin is a good fight but Povetkin isn't a champion he's just another contender albeit a top contender.

Fury/Wilder is another good fight but you have a paper champion vs a former undefeated champion who's barely fought in recent years.

Neither of these fights unifies the belts, neither fights winner can say they are undisputedly the best. Joshua wins he just reconfirms he's a consensus but not the unanimous number 1 in the division. Wilder or Fury wins they become the top contender to AJ and improve their leverage in negotiations with him a little.

As too which fight sells better, probably Joshua/Povetkin does better at the box office he's the far more proven draw. But if Fury/Wilder does catches the fans imaginations who knows, it's unlikely but the potential is there.

fury/wilder isn't a good fight at all. one guy just had a staged fight with a cw bum, yet still didn't land a clean punch. the other leaves a lot to be desired, but at their peaks they are equal bums. right now it is 99-1% for wilder. fight has zero chance of happening, unless fury needs drug money.

Much more is one the line in the Fury vs Wilder fight. This is the lineal champion against the WBC champion.

Povetkin is challenging for paper gift shop belts.

Whoever wins the super fight between Wilder and Fury, is clearly the lineal heavyweight champion of the world, in all but name.

Wilder vs Fury is the much much much bigger fight than Joshua vs Povetkin.

    Joshua vs Povetkin is 90/10

Wilder vs Fury is probably 40/60 or even 50/50 although i think Fury will win a wide UD.

Well, one is signed, sealed and announced. The other one seems to be going to happen.

The one that’s signed, sealed and announced is happening next month. The one that seems to be happening is 3–4 months away.

Yet look at this board. Look at any forum where boxing is discussed. It’s 90-plus percent Wilder-Fury and 10 percent or less AJ/Povetkin. When Anthony Johnson’s name comes up, it’s mostly in regards to whether he’s ducking Wilder or not.

For that matter, there’s more discussion about Wilder-Fury than about Canelo-GGG ... although the latter is obviously a bigger fight. I’d argue that it’s possible Wilder-Fury, properly promoted, will be on that level as an event once they get to running their mouths — casuals will know about it, whether they buy the PPV or not.

Pretty obvious which fight has more interest.

Now that's true, a lot of people are seeing Joshua/Povetkin as a foregone conclusion which to be fair maybe true.

Wilder/Fury is far more intriguing as we don't know what to expect if it happens. Will Fury look like garbage, is he cashing out or pulling off a masterstroke if he's back to where he was or close to it, will it even happen. The speculation and unknown is what makes this the more interesting of the two fights. Shame that a lot of casuals will not even know about the ins and outs of this match up because it has the potential to be the far more interesting fight.

That’s Eddie’s job ... to get people interested in his fight. I know there’s time but it makes no sense to me that he’s going on about things like whether Wilder-Fury will happen and saying he’s going to make an offer for Wilder-Whyte in New York rather than promoting his own fight.

First, the one fight DID happen the other we will see I still have my doubts, if I was forced to put my money on it, I would probably still bet on it not happening this year.

Second, I hope I'm wrong and the fight DO happen (though I would have preferred Fury having a bit more comeback fights before it happen would make the fight better)

Third, "Mr Anti Deontay" lol, In this fight I would ALWAYS root for Wilder, so I guess that makes me a Mr Anti-Anti Tyson fury, jeez. I said before in posts I wish I'm wrong about Wilder (and I might be) and that he is this incredible wrecking machine, personally I still sense a "fraud", not meaning he isn't good, he definately is, but he isn't this devastating world beater some make him up to be.

Forth, "feminist" not that I should really comment on it since you most likely just threw it in there in a sad attempt of an insult along the lines of calling a person gay or idiot when you don't agree with them, but I will do you the honor. I'm FAR FAR from being a feminist, feminism in its current state and the SJW's who have popped up in it's wake are doing more damage than good imo.
