Both boxers are there to promote/publicise the fight, eg make more money, the talk game is Furys forte, see how much he did when on his enforced lay off.

So Wilder knows it is Fury doing his thing, selling the fight, Wilder and his team can see the dollars increasing courtesy of Furys loudmouth.

Fury has a great personality. He makes those press conferences very interesting. I don't know what will happen in the fight. I am hoping Fury wins to be honest.

Stupid! How many times are you fools going to make the same mistake? Just recently, idiots were going on about how Canelo is so scared of G that he acted crazy at the weigh in to get out of the face off. LOL Dummies got it wrong again! Now, because Fury talked more at a press conference he is going to win the fight. LOL I thought Fury was passed it? Changing your tune again? Honestly, I can't pick a winner in this one but, I want Wilder! That will really get the sack suckery out of this site. No more Kovalev sack suckers.....CHECK! No more Golovkin sack suckers.....CHECK! No more Fury sack suckers.....CHECK! There is hope for this potentially great boxing site after all. Come on Wilder!

Fury pisses me off tbh. He did better at witty banter in the second one, but the only thing he did better in the first one is just go past the point of being acceptable and yelled random crap at Wilder who was trying to stay on some kind of level - allowing his opponent his opportunity to talk, and talking to some degree of truth.

Basically whenever Wilder talked, Fury yelled over him. When Fury got in Wilder's face Wilder got back in his face, and Fury backed down and shouted his rips on Wilder to the crowd instead of Wilder himself... if ANYONE showed cracks in their confidence because of this face off, I'd say it was Fury.

What I believe however, is getting excited about these conferences and reading something into them is for the casuals. No amount of shouting is going to help Fury if he gets hit cleanly by Wilder, nor the same for Wilder if he can't land something on Fury.

I'm looking forward to the actual fight, however.

Can't wait for John Cena to drop kick Frank Warren and then smash Finkel with a chair. Triple HHH to announce his comeback afterwards only for Lou Dibella to interrupt and tell the world he has been banging HHH's wife backstage. HHH loses his **** and suplexs Lou through a table, and then The Big Show (who has been hiding in the front row of the crowd) choke-slams HHH back into retirement. Then Wilder and Fury turn to each other, shaking hands and face against The Big Show, clothes-lining him. The Big Show is counted out by guest referee Eddie Hearn whilst Fury and Wilder stand centre-stage both holding the WBC belt in the air. The new undisputed WBC Tag-Team champions have been crowned, "Half-Hybrid-Half-Gypsy".

They both call-out AJ calling him a coward and threaten to bang his wife if he doesn't give them money.

Winning press conferences, weigh-ins and events... some fans seem to care more about that as the actual fight result it seems.

    See Lemieux vs O'Sullivan.

Frankly if i never had to see or hear of a trash talking press conference prefight ever again i would be very happy, they are so stage managed and cringeworthy, but it is what lot of folk want to see i guess so it will continue.

Yeah it does little for me too. Cringeworthy is the right word. No doubt someone's crunched the numbers however and can put a mibetamo value on every 'outrageous' comment or 'spontaneous' action...

Don't play stupid! Canelo did not fight like he was scared. According to some idiots, Canelo was scared because of how he conducted himself at the weigh in. At least give him that much credit. Secondly, people need to stop acting as if the fight was a one sided beat down handed out by G. Lastly, people need to stop crying about the fight being some terrible robbery. It was a close fight, which, I might add, I thought G won. But was not a robbery!

I agree but it wasn't a legitimate lost to the point that you would say 'Golovkin fans no more'. It was a scoring nightmare match. Still I'd argue it was far easier scoring it for Golovkin win than Canelo. Why I'm saying this? Because your comment was harsh mentioning him after Kovalev. Kovalev's been knocked out twice while Golovkin arguable won twice against a top prime p4p at age 35/36. Not quite the same.
Well ,since there's the probability you're mentioning those who think G KOs Canelo in 6... what can i say? You're probably right.

I agree, that G won. My complaint is against people that make these threads just to critisize one fighter while pumping up their hero. Then when their post is completely proven wrong they are nowhere to be found. Remember Ward would never face Kovalev? How many of those so called men admitted they were wrong? Remember Crawford would vacate instead of faceing Postal? What happened? Did anyone ever come out and say Crawford proved them wrong? Remember Wilder would never face Ortiz? How much credit did Wilder get for that fight. He fought a guy, that not 6 months before was the boogie man of the division. And instead of giving Wilder any kind of credit, what did these so called boxing fans do? Started bashing Ortiz. Claiming he was an old man. Since I'm speaking of wilder, let's talk about his upcomijg fight with Fury. For 3 years fools came on here claiming Fury would do this or that to Wilder and Wilder wouldn't fight him. The fight get signed and suddenly Fury is a shell of himself. Yeah, you can say I'm calling out all these idiots before, during and after their hero's lose. The sad thing about it is, I like G and Kovalev and even Fury to some degree but, I want them to lose solely because of their A-hole fans.
