Jowcol, not only do I remember Windmill but I had the pleasure of meeting him the other night when he was being inducted in the West Coast Boxing Hall of Fame. Man, I can't tell you how much my Dad and I looked forward to his fights. Good times.

Better yet, it was Tocker Pudwill (with an ‘o’ in his first name).

Who can forget the African heavyweight Proud Kilimanjaro? He fought Black Tiger, Jukebox Timebomb and Horace Notice.

In the 1920s there was Battling Bozo, who beat Maxie Rosenbloom once on a newspaper decision (at least by one paper) and had a couple of draws with him ... and also fought a King Kong as well as Corn Griffin and Cracker Jack Webb.

As Cross Trainer hints with Jukebox Timebomb, the kings of names belongs to the 70s and 80s Southern African Heavyweights. I think all four Beatles are there, as is Captain Cleopas Marvel and the ultimate villain: Hitler the Killer!

Oh, it's worse than that. It wasn't "Tucker." His name is Tocker. Tocker Pudwill.

Then again, with a last name like that what difference does it make what his first name is?
