Why are the Relikh/Troyanovsky odds so close? This really isn't that close of a fight imo.

Gonna drop a couple stacks on Relikh here. -140 are great odds for a 28 year old champion in his prime vs a vastly overrated Troyanovsky who is 38 years old ffs. Relikh was great in his last bout vs an undefeated Rances and had a very close fight with him in their first bout (Many say Relikh won that one too, but w/e).

Troyanovsky got knocked flat out in 40 secs vs Indongo (Who has seen his career falter after getting embarrassed by Bud).

Relikh's chin is also cast iron so the chances of him getting one punched are lowwwwww........................Relikh's inside game will be far too much for Troyanovsky. His jab also has vastly improved as shown in his last fight.

This fight isn't in Russia, it's in neutral grounds (Japan).

Why is this fight so close on the betting odds?

Wow MVC! a serious and credible thread from you? What is the world coming to??? I completely agree. I like Troya but the odds are way too close here. He has a punchers chance but that's it. The odds here are a steal.

Gonna parlay Miller, Inoue, Relikh all ML. 500 for 400. Not too bad.

I just don't get why the odds are like this, but im going for it.

Then can we please get a Troyanovsky/Indongo II and then after Indongo suffers a KO1 defeat have a dual rubber match headliner with Kudryashov/Durodola III?

Agreed, Relikh at -140 is way too tight … I guess some punters are under the impression it's in Russia or something?

Let's hope more of those guys have the same impression and level the odds a tad so I get a potentially better payout :D.

 That's kind of an insult to Dmitry & Ola, actually - they're both far more skilled p4p than either of those dudes 60lbs south.

Looking good to put some cash on a Relikh/Inoue by KO double this weekend.

Troyanovsky is both the better boxer and the the heavier handed of the two. Still not sure why so many people think this'll be some kind of blowout.

Relikh did not beat Burns decisively, it was at best a 115-113 either way or a draw, whereas Burns-Indongo was a one sided domination. There's a reason for that, Burns could take Relikh's power and was willing to take risks, he was scared shitless against Indongo, and took none. As crappy as Indongo's chin might be and skillset might be, to the point where anyone who has a shred of decent defense and boxing ability can outbox him, his power is very real.

As far as his win over Barthelemy, I picked him both times, the first time the fight was close, it could have gone either way, it wasn't the robbery it was made out to be, but since I thought Relikh was the one with room for adjustments and improvements the second time around, I went with him again and it paid off. But its not like Relikh has this exemplary skillset and is a defensive master, he's there to be hit.

Troya will crush Relikh in 4.

It will be much closer than you think. And Troyanovsky has a realistic chance to win. I'm not claiming I'm sure he will win, though.

Because Troya has the one hitter quitter and relikh is a energetic swarmer who throws a lot of punches on the inside. However Troya hasn’t fought anyone good except Indongo and he got flattened. So I expect a Relikh to put a pounding on him.

He hasn't fought anyone good? Obara, Cuencax2, Shakhnazaryan, Di Rocco and Portillo are all solid scalps, Rances was overrated and Burns loses to everyone vaguely decent, except for Relikh, damn the overrating of Relikh and underrating of Troya is in full effect on this thread.

Troy is the better fighter. It's just a question of how much age, inactivity, and the knockout loss has diminished him.
