Exactly. Good post. Khan is again trying to gain any advantage what the pusssy doesn’t want is
A fair 50/50 fight what a dickhead. He goes on about how great he is and his resume we’ll fight on equal
Terms show us you can beat Brook on equal fair terms. And when you do beat him you get all the credit. But he won’t as he knows deep down brook has his number and could
    End his career.

    Deary me Brook

Khan has no titles no p4p ranking, no unblemished record, been KOd plenty and Brook is just non stop trying to fight him because he sees him as easy pickings. How absolutely sad and its cowardly

**** him, the begger, begging it for a fight

Drain him, **** him on the split, do everything, Khan doesnt need the fight, no one is really arsed about the fight

Let Brook go fight someone relevant in his own division instead of looking to challenge people he sees as weak and an easy win, Id love nothing more than after all this time of him begging for the fight, for him to get K0d by Khan after being weight drained and absolutely ****ed on the split, would be hilarious

Utterly unusual and bizarre clause. This fight has long passed it's sell by and prime/peak date, sadly, but I'll still watch. Unfortunately it feels like neither fighter have the belief or drive, or perhaps endurance left in their careers to have a proper push to get on world level, but I hope I am wrong.

It’s not bizarre at all. It’s a staple in boxing when one fighter is perceived to be the larger man naturally and there is no doubt Brook is larger than Khan.

Mayweather used to have them, Loma-Rigorous had one and even Porter-Broner. It’s a demand. It doesn’t need to be accepted and if Brook deems it unfair, simply he shouldn’t pursue the fight.

Home advantage is another demand that tons of boxers ask for. It’s perfectly reasonable as the smaller man for Khan to demand this. There is a reason why the IBF enforces this rule too and Brook used to adhere to this no problem.

Unsure why I have not heard of it before in such direct terminology having followed the fights mentioned and build ups. Agreed it does not need to be accepted, and I think Brook would win anyway if they had to weigh in regardless of hydration. Either way, however agreeable parties may be, it's another over-complication that I feel probably needs stamping out, and fight day way ins would make that a lot fairer. Shrug - boxing politics.

I actually agree with this. There should be standardised rules for all of this fair across all divisions but when mega bucks are involved catchweights and clauses always come into play.

Far too many boxing bodies and boards of control and doping testing boards as well. Definitely should be more universal and clear guidelines. As you say, money talks.

When is Brook going to get it into his head that Khan isn’t going to fight him? Funny thing is he is ridiculing this request but he’ll probably end up agreeing to it! And then Khan will think of another clause!

You can’t make somebody fight you if they don’t want to. Like others have said he sees Khan as low risk high reward. Where exactly is the glory in knocking Khan out? It’s not exactly difficult is it? Just move on Kell ffs your just embarrassing yourself at this point and Khan just continues to string you along.

Brook has rubbished the idea of clause so looks like this can be put to bed.

As a side note, i do like the IBF rule and think they should bring this in as a universal rule anyway. Putting on best part of 20ib+ over night is ridiculous and dangerous for both fighters for different reasons. We sometimes see some huge differences between fighters on the night. Off the top of my head, Linares had a stone on Loma, Groves had a stone on Junior, Lemieux had well over a stone on Spike, Munguia looked huge in comparison to Smith.

You can't blame the fighter, some fighters body just naturally put on weight some don't. If a fighter does it's his advantage his natural body genetics.

My mistake, just double checked. He demanded one for Canelo but GBP held firm.
