That is just laughable "technique" Watching that i might change my mind about the outcome. Even a 50% Fury has got a good chance.
Wilder always looked like a clown in terms of technique but he has the power plus some illegal techniques to win those fights ...so who cares?
Wilder has excellent trainers, but he also started boxing at 20 years old. It's very rare for a person that starts boxing at 20 years old to become a boxing master so Mark Breland and Russ Anber focused on what Wilder already did well and improved it such as his punching, mobility, and conditioning. His straight right and counter right are textbook, he doesn't waste punches, and when he moves he doesn't take too many steps, which conserves his energy and allows him to keep his power late. Wilder is already 40 fights into his career and a fully developed fighter, so I doubt Freddie or Garcia would be able to offer much. Wilder is never going to have excellent footwork and nor is he ever going to have a jab like Larry Holmes, but at the end of the day I see Wilder as a faster and more mobile Bonecrusher Smith, but with a better team behind him.
Naaah surely that's a joke, Wilder taking the pee. I want to mock him but I think that's so bad it just has to be Wilder sort of having a pop at people who hammer him for his technique.
Wilder's trying to punch and move at the same time, which is a major no no in boxing. Wilder not only throws himself off balance, but leaves his body wide open, which is why he was absorbing so many body shots from Ortiz. If Fury still had Peter behind him I'd pick him, but with Davison as his trainer I see Fury coming up short. Fury doesn't seem to respect Davison as a trainer, so I'm skeptical that Davison will be able to whip Tyson into tip top shap, since Davison seems like a yes man.
Wouldn't put to much thought on this its shadow boxing ,the angles he uses aren't that bad but he don't actually put punches together in real fights. His Heavy bag work is worse and his actual fighting is slightly better then that with his pad work about average. The video footages here shows a still dangerous fast guy, but will the angles work against someone who can fight at 6'9 to set up shots ? What still gets me this guy calls Joshua a stiff robot but does he actually watch himself in training or the ring ? My pick stands ,Fury by late stoppage about the 11th ,its a fight he should really win if he claims he's this great boxer bc no 6'9 guy with above average skills should lose to a predictable guy like Wilder unless hes out of shape and Furys clearly not who is more then above averaged skilled ..
