Got winner right in Patera but closer for me.

Good job judges. 116-112 Patera sounds about right. Everyone was saying Ritson won the first few rounds, but I totally disagree. Those were close rounds that I mainly gave to Patera. He controlled that fight so well. And his stamina is outrageous, how he kept that pace up for 12 rounds I'll never know.

I can’t remember the fight but Dodd has a SD win over Patera. This doesn’t bode well for Ritson’s long term prospects.

 

Ritson was hurt at various points in the fight. To be honest, I will look forward to his future domestic fights but I don't see him as being a world class operator,

 

Ritson should move up a weight.

 

People in this thread were comparing Ritson's jab to GGG's. Some people can't even see the writing on the wall as it's being written out in front of them. Never change ESB.

He got excited and thought every round could be like the first. Patera had the superior work rate and grinded it out. Top man, he took some heavy shots.

 

Right man won, I thought Hearn looked scared when the final judges score was read out, most likely for reputability purposes if it was home town. Thoroughly enjoyable fight.

 

Ritson's jab was working great first 3 rounds. He went a bit one shot happy rest of fight. Close fight imo. Draw or Patera by 1 was fair. Enjoyed it, shame Ritson lost but it was a proper fight.

 

Could have went either way for me.. Great fight though and Hearn will build a PPV undercard off the rematch !!
