:) I am not ALWAYS on the wind up 20. I saw the danger signs from ritson and I called it. ( Those who ignore superlennys brilliant boxing insights do so at their peril!!!!) While "THe Plank"s massive physical advantages should keep him safe for a while he in many ways has ritsons flaws too..... Cheers.
By the way in case people think I was just a knocker slagging ritson off don't forget I was right about ritsons strengths too. ..Here is a quote from me about ritson on the Irish forum which didn't win me any friends at the time he was in the run up to fighting hyland. ...

"You think Hyland beats Ritson? Hardly. Carls just being nice. Ritsons nothing great - a powerful plodder really - but he is too just powerful for Hyland. Could get ugly for Hyland. His corner better have that towel handy....."

Come to think of it I was right about bakole too. .. Yeee haw!
Here's what I said to moog and Billy about the bould bakole!

"Terrific" might be just a slight exaggeration, moog!!! From the tiny bit I've seen of him he looks to have SOME skills/talent alright, (and I stress SOME) but he's nowhere near being the "complete package" and also he wasn't even physically fit ffs...that's pretty much page one stuff for an athlete ...which doesn't fill me with confidence in him ....no matter what Billy says. Plus I'm also doubtful he's a youngster (as Billy suggests). I strongly feel Billy might be blinded by loyaloyalty, love, the prospect of some major ££££ or whatever your having yourself in this case. Time will tell.

Funny thing about this exposure is the interwebs talking about this kid being moved too fast lol.

This fight was meant to be not much of a jump if a jump at all.

This was not bad match making, Ritson just wasn't as good as expected.

The Belgian bloke was a bit better than expected.

I imagine Josh Kelly gets a bit further before getting exposed but if he ever fights a banger he's ****ed too

Last night's action now has Eh Day licking his PPV lips for his January dates to fleece the PPV Mugs

    Ideas include:
Week 1 The Tyne v The Humber (Ritson v Coyle) supported by Luke Campbell v Scott Cardle
Week2 The Mersey v The Tyne (Dodd v Ritson) supported by Natasha Jonas comeback v A N Other Puddding
Week 3 Throw in a #nextcan event on Sky Sports with the usual Fowler v Khan type fights etc
Week 4 Battle of the Living Heavyweight Dead - Price v Bakole supported by 30 mins discussing Anthony Yarde ringside.

Think the mugs will love paying for this action Adam if we throw in a little bit of domestic needle

The Belgian bloke was as expected - a fighter beaten by Mashed Up Dodd who was beaten by err Tommy Coyle.

Your point is spot on - Ritson is not very good.

The curse of Tony Bellew strikes again. Tony said Ritson goes through everyone below world level like a 'hot knife through butter' and Pantera was there to be blasted out.

And can we stop with the pathetic "It's always been my dream to fight in *insert local football stadium*. We all know what it is, a cynical cash grab.

This is what's wrong with boxing you get written off and shat on by the fans after one loss , fighters with zero's mostly have padded records , Ritson was a work in progress yesterday and he remains one today think he'll bounce back and win the European title fairly soon.

This may well be the case but it comes with having such a hype behind him prior to losing yesterday. Did you see some of the nonsense sky were saying about Ritson? It was farcical.

There's promotion and then there's what Ritson had in the run up to yesterday and what Conor Benn gets every time he fights.

Thought this too. Hearn giving Ritson way too much too soon, he's still a novice. Shouldn't be headlining big shows yet. Ritson doesn't want to be a superstar, yet Hearn was pushing him down that road. Pressure did for him I think. It was all too much.

Bradley Saunders now Ritson - Eh Day's search for a Geordie Boxer to fill St James Park is proving as difficult as Mike Ashley finding a buyer for Newcastle United.

Ritson must be watching the Joe Gallagher training DVDs.

Walk opponent down in straight lines, defend attacking punches with face and body then come to the corner where you get told more of the same.

**** me people are fickle as ****.

If Ritson had blown away a lower level fighter it would have been called bull****.

Steps him up to give him a real test and see where he is at and people are calling it bad match making.
