he's the first giant heavyweight to come from a boxing family. Like FMJ, Chris Byrd, and Lomachenko, he is relaxed in the ring and does things easily that others, who start later in life have a hard time learning. I don't know if his abilities should be called "natural" or if they were just learned from an early age by being around boxing and boxers. His size and boxing skills make him unique, the only thing that might be lacking is dedication/conditioning. With Fury's size, and as relaxed as he is in the ring, he can get away with not being in perfect condition.

If he beats Wilder, he'll have a much better argument for it.

The man is over 6'7 260lbs and moves like a featherweight. When he was well over 300lbs he still had crazy speed and footwork. He's truly one of a kind and we're all lucky to be alive to see it.

He’s been boxing since he could walk, so his skills are not a natural gift, he’s had years and years of training to learn his skills. The only natural gifts he has are his reach and height.

Natural gifts are things which can’t really be improved that much by practicing them, things like speed, power etc. The only way fury’s skills would count as a natural gift would be if he had never set foot in a boxing ring or had started boxing really late in life.

Naturally gifted? No, there's no "boxing gene". There are no naturally gifted fighters. They all worked for it during endless training hours.

Bit of an oxymoron to call a renowned former drug cheat, the most naturally gifted athlete.

that klitchko win really has taken a life of its own. That fight was horrible where neither guy did much yet somehow has been turned into some legendary win. You couldn't pay me to watch that fight again.

Dude, he's got one (one!!) notable fight on his record which was a fooking borefest. Let's get some perspective. I wouldn't even single him out as particularly gifted. Decent boxer and good mover. That's it. He's not even top 10 P4P at the moment. Hell, he aint even the most talented fighter I read about today!

Fury and his fans live off that win.

Not too dissimilar to how Joshua lives off the Klitstchko win.

At least Fury did it without breaking much of a sweat which is far more impressive.
