And the likely scenario is that Mayweather was juiced off his tits and Manny was clean in their bout.

I agree that both are almost certainly cheats but I think Mayweather ensured he got the advantage in their bout.

I also believe Mayweather plays the retirement card so he can juice himself up to the eyeballs, reap all the benefits and make a comeback on a date set by him. It's so transparent but the idiotic casuals don't have a clue.

ye but style wise he was a good match for FMJ at that point.. hes obviously evolved his style & has more experience now. Don't forget he had no amateur experience hardly..
Prior to FMJ he hadn't done 24 rounds with triple G (imo losing 14 of them but thats a separate debate..) 12 with Floyd, Cotto, Lara..you cant buy experience like that.. Alvarez (peds aside) today is an all round better fighter than in 2013.. He was a boy then, hes a man now!

Fighters progress, mature & evolve. The scorecard for the FMJ was another joke though..

Really? Only 5 years? It's 11 fights for 300mill.. Floyd had 5 fights for 200mill.. Floyd made more per fight.. Regardless, Floyd is the reason why Canelo got this contract.. No one was making money like this until Floyd.. You guys putting emotions on him without even a possibility of knowing don't make it true...lol

Well they are never directly in their prime after they take a wide loss to Floyd, duh.

Canelo or Maidana don't qualify for whatever reasons to you, I'm guessing? Certainly Victor Ortiz was everyone's #3 and the best form his career ever got. You could argue Guerrero was on his top. I guess it was unfortunate the top dogs at so many times happened to be established boxers in their 30's, wow what a thought, who would have guessed? Because he fought the then top dog of the division in Pac, Cotto, and Mosley (three HOF'ers at that). All of this in the last 9 years, with having been retired for 3 now.

Lol, unfortunately that doesn't win rounds and feinting is used to setup shots. As he landed nothing then it's fair to assume that Floyd reacting was him winning those battles too.

There was nothing masterful being done that night by Canelo, other than showing a world class chin despite being a walking corpse.

I'd have loved nothing more than to have seen Canelo beat the hell out of Mayweather, but it was the exact opposite.

floyd has always been an attention-seeking insecure person. at least he's not beating up women and security guards this time.

Yeah true, although B-Hop fought to 50 he had the right style for it I suppose, but still went out in hideously hilarious fashion for it.
