Tony Bellew defends Bully Joe Sanders and makes extraordinary accusation

Came across this article today in which Tony Bellew defends Bully Joe Sanders, seemingly softening his hard line stance on drug cheats:

“If you’re talking about fighters who have taken over-the-counter products like Billy Joe or Dillian Whyte, I’ve got an enormous amount of sympathy for them.

“I don’t class Whyte as a steroid cheat because he drank a drink he got over the counter. If it’s proven that Saunders sniffed a nasal spray, I believe the person who gave it to him knew.

“But Billy would never have taken a steroid. I know that because I have spent a lot of time around Billy Joe.

“Luis Ortiz is a banned steroid cheat [for nandrolone in 2017]. Povetkin twice tested positive [for meldonium and ostarine in 2016] and is a cheating scumbag.

“Guys who inject steroids into themselves, there’s no condoning that. If a guy smokes a spliff, OK it’s wrong, he’s out of order but he’s not putting anyone in danger. But it’s these b******s who are taking performance-enhancing drugs who are at a different level.


Astonishingly, Bellew then goes on to suggest there is a rat in the camp:

“Billy Joe can’t even spell oxilofrine, he doesn’t know what that is but I’m pretty sure everyone in boxing knows who gave him it. I’m pretty sure they know why he was given it. He did not know that. Whoever gave it to him needs banning.

“Billy Joe Saunders has not taken a performance-enhancing drug injected into him like Ortiz, like Povetkin. Billy hasn’t done that. I know Billy is no cheat."

Who is Tony Bellend talking about here? Who is this guy that everyone in boxing knows? Ideas?

More evidence how much of a tosser this guy is, he just speculates on here say and little bits of info he has seen on social media then condems them with the big TONY BELLEND rant!!

The guy just needs to keep his mouth shut on things he doesnt really know anythin g about Lucas Browne was guilty of over the counter positive test i seem to remember TONY went to town on him.

 

Tyson Fury failed a test and got a ban for Nandrolone the exact same thing Ortiz failed a test for but Fury doesn’t get the same abuse.

Bellew talking rubbish. it's not a matter of whether they took steroids it's the issue of failing a test.

If Usyk failed the same test BJS did for the same stimulant there is not a chance he wouldn't care.

So now that Dom Ingle has admitted giving BJS the nasal drops containing Ephedrine it is clear that Tony Bellew is actully calling for Dom Ingle to be banned.

But BJS is innocent, Bellew is a div! BJS isnt a five year old child did he think the nasal spray nutrition plan along with his protein shake at the end of the session was what all top athletes do!
