Roy has a great chance at winning this fight. Calzaghe did not look that impressive.

Even the Roy Jones of today has the tools to not only school Joe Calzaghe but to knock him out in brutal fashion.
Calzaghe did not impress against Hopkins.
Roy Jones brings much more to the table.
Calzaghe would get absolutely no respect with his slapping piter pater offence.

i don't know if Jones at this point can beat Joe. Primed of course, but Now?
If joe fought and beat Pavlik on the other hand he would in my opinion be rated a little higher and might even pierce all time great

I would love to see RJJ pull it off but he'll probably need to KO Calzaghe if he wants to win on Calzaghe's turf !

Roy needs to get down to business, stay focused and go all out for the full fight...no clowning around !!

I would definately love to see RJJ beat Calzaghe.

Same reason I cheered for Hatton vs PBF.

Some guys just need to get beat, and you always cheer for their opponent.

We didn't see a rematch because Hopkins was too afraid to fight Roy back in his prime. 60-40 was plenty good enough for Hopkins who made alot less money doing what he did than if he fought Roy again. Besides, Roy was the pound for pound king back then and the MUCH bigger draw, If Hopkins really thought he could win he would have taken the fight, (which would have been a smarter buissness move win or lose) had a chance of revenge against a guy who beat him, and not to mention, could you imagine how much better his legacy would have been? Beating a bigger prime Roy Jones??? Hopkins had everything to win and nothing to lose, I blame him for not making the fight happen. Oh and by the way, Hopkins wouldn't KO Roy even now, and if Roy is afraid of Hopkins because he beat Tarver, what sence does it make to challenge the man that beat Hopkins?

You know what I'm hoping for?
    Jones UD12 Calzaghe
    Pavlik KO8 Jones!

Now that would be ****ing hilarious! And a fitting way to send Slappy Joe into his retirement years.

But seriously -- I'll be rooting for Roy because he's one of my favorites. However I expect a clear UD for Joe.

Of course I want Roy to win, imagine what that would do to his legacy, stepping up out of his post post prime for 12 more rounds and upsetting arguably the best p4p fighter in the world?? That would be true ATG material
