spence is another of my favorite fighters, but hes not destroying mikey at all. most likely beat him, but hes gonna catch a lot of leather also and its going to be very competitive. mikeys performance is going to put a whole lot of fear into lomas huggers... remember this post.
You're being silly. Pac's been giving up significant size/weight disadvantages for over a decade. If Mikey is THAT good, and he wants to chase greatness (although Spence's best wins are damaged Algieri and broken Brook), why aren't you for it? Pac was accused of ducking Spence/Crawford. Hold Mikey to the same standard.
Because everybody isn't Pac. And Pac didnt run away from Morales, Marquez and Barrera. Pac didnt leave any unfinished business. Mikey is though. The p4p #1 is in his own weight class.
Would it have been easy to make the fight? I don't keep up with who promotes who too much. Doesn't seem like Spence isn't an easier fight to win.

Wonder what kind of money is in this fight for both guys, neither guy proven on PPV and the fight probably does Ward-Kovalev number. Yet Mikey is taking a big gamble. If he gets blasted out, which is possible given Spence's size and power his value diminishes drastically. Must be making a minimum of $5-8m to even consider the fight. Otherwise he surely would get good money for the Loma fight which although tough he would have a shot at. Or I bet even Hearn would have thrown similar money at him for the Luke Campbell fight or to go up and try and get Hooker's belt.
Spence is huge welter, he probably weighs over 160 pounds. I do not even know if Garcia weighs 145 pounds on the ring.
Mikey is bigger and stockier than stronger than Pacquiao. If Mikey is as good as people say he is, he will be fine.
