Yep true, at my skinniest 90% of what I ate was junk and convenience food but at my heaviest 90% of what I ate was healthy nutritious food. Total calories count more than what you actually eat.
I will also chime in that he definitely did not take training seriously for McG. Everybody with any sources all seem to indicate the question is if Floyd trained at all for McG, and accounts from paparazzi showed he literally was never in the gym and almost always at his strip club. Perhaps he moved some weights and a heavy bag into the back office, but otherwise...
another thing, floyd regularly training at all odd hours of the night is another thing i identify with, ive been up all night, and im not on drugs or anything. surely there are many such anomalies, heck, some people could spontaneously combust.
I went to the Mayweather gym during his prep for the first Maidana fight. Trained hard and didnt stop, at the end of a long workout did a 5 mile run whilst everyone waited at the gym. I always thought that everyone knew Floyd was a gym rat, Ariza etc have all attested to this. The fast food was usually for 24/7 or all access to live up to that persona.
I know he hung around those who flaunt, so I have no comeback line to dispute. Myself, when I go back home to Wisconsin, many of my old partners still smoke weed, but I don't, or well stopped, let me be real! In other words I'd imagine people will think of me in similar fashion; how can I not smoke blunts when I'm around those who do? They're my row-dogs, Love them till I die. Wow, I wasn't aware of his pants-dropping episode. Was it the alcohol? or one of his promoting stunts? I stand down on this, you have more info than I.
THANKS!!!! I felt like I was cheating eating the maple & Brown Sugar and was supposed eat the Quaker regular stuff, but I muff it up adding butter & sugar! You shouldn't have told me this Jackoman...I'm on my way to get the cinnamon & spice too!
Man, you kidding? Floyd has trained every second every minute every hour every day every week every month every year of his life. It doesnt matter if he was retired, active, in the middle of a camp or whatever. This guy is a gym-rat, a gym freak. His life IS to train. I bet he still wakes up at 6 am to run everyday, he's a freak as I said.
Whether you like him or not you have to respect the effort he always put in at the gym. Alwas in good shape didn't gain a lot of weight between fights and took care of his body. If he hadn't he wouldn't have been able to compete at 40 years old.
