Pulev>>>Donkey Wins against Hughie Chisora Thompson Dimitrenko Ustinov And he was only KO'd by Wlad x 1 (no headgear and pillows on fists) whereas Donkey was KO'd x 2 by Wlad in the gym with headgear and pillows on. Donkey wouldn't have made it out of round 1 against the Wlad Pulev fought and those savage left hooks Wlad dropped him with numerous times would've sparked out everyone in the current top 10. Donkey only has wins over Old Man River Ortiz who is pushing 50 and wasn't on his PEDs for that fight which should mean he was a nowhere near as dangerous as when he's on them, right? Apparently not. Hmmm... But PEDvetkin and Hughroid, doe. And Stiverne who was suffering from severe dehydration going into the fight (how many HWs you seen reaching for liquids after stepping on the scales at weigh ins? lol) and subsequently had to be hospitalized due to it after the fight. Buuuuummmm Squaaaad!!
Biased commentary and the Fury clan jumping to the ring celebrating after the final bell tell me that they planned to rob Parker but managed to bribe only one judge and even he was too embarrassed to give it to Hughie. My scores: Parker-Hughie 119-109 Pulev-Hughie 118-110
Yeah agreed. Except I think Hughie did a little better against Parker making him look silly at times, but those moments were few and far between and not anywhere close to enough. He doesn't know how to put it together, and should not be fighting and pretending to be a top contender at this stage.
Parker was able to go the distance only because he doesn't believe he can win, his goal was just to get out of this fight without be KOd.Pulev and Povetkin believed in their skills, tried to win the fight, Povetking was leading on points, but his stamina, too old...Pulev i think was too emotional in that fight. Before the KO, Pulev place one good punch which make Wlad to lose connection with his legs for a second. This was good to achieve, but maybe make Pulev too confident and he pay for that (2 times after clinchs he didn't put up his hands fast enough, after that he was knocked out). By the same logic, win of Tyson over Klitshko was better than Joshua's win.Because Joshua's fight was 50/50, both have their chances, both believed they can win, take risks, while against Fury, Klitshko realized after first rounds that he can do nothing to win, too big difference in that fight, that's why he didn't risk, Fury was too fast and Klitschko felt it.
I'm not sure it proves that but I was of the opinion that were similar levels anyway. With activity on his side, I'd probably have picked Pulev over Parker in a H2H.
Just to add to this, I had AJ-Parker to AJ but had it reasonably close. I think by a round or two, can't remember which exactly. I had Parker-Whyte to Parker but a small margin but I tend to disregard that one as I was drunk scoring it and I ****ing hate Whyte
Well, ok, good that you realize Parker is just one average top 10 boxer, future top 20(behind Joshua, Hrgovic, Yoka, Makhmudov, Jalolov, Usyk and others).in the 1st moment i didn't get your sarcasm and thinked you really believe Parker is better than Pulev.
I will repeat myself, Pulev has wins in amateurs over Bogdan Dinu, Zhilei Zhang, Odlanier Solis, Głowacki, Roberto Cammarelle, Robert Alfonso. In pro also some good wins.Whyte lose from Chisora(my and many other's opinion), but Pulev was different level against Chisora(who was 10 pounds lighter for that fight).Maybe that's why Whyte(and Miller) ducked him. He's not a puncher, but his skills are underrated.
He also beat Russian super heavyweight Timurziev, who for a while was among the top 3 in the division. Pulev can box. Too bad at age 37, his prime is pretty much over.
But Alexander handed Maidana better as Floyd. Still nobody called Devon better either. It's quite possible that current Pulev is better as Parker, but there's hardly any evidence to support it either way. And my reaction was about the false notion that Hughie got robbed against Parker somehow.
