Barrera vs Khan - Barrera one of my favourites of all time, a natural super bantam weight and ten years past his prime brought over here so the glass chinned one could use him as a punchbag and add a 'name' to his CV. The man who destroyed the bully Naz, went to war three times with Morales plus McKinney, beat Tapia, Juarez etc., plus came back from 2 bad losses to a big puncher in Junior Jones, that ATG being beaten into a bloody mess by Amir bloody Khan.
Holmes vs Ali Foreman vs Frazier Any Ezzard Charles fight that takes place after Marciano vs Charles 2 Muhammad Ali vs Archie Moore Rocky Marciano vs Joe Louis Jimmy Young vs George Foreman Gerald McClellan vs Julian Jackson 2 Gene Tunney vs Jack Dempsey Mayweather vs Gatti Rocky Marciano vs Joe Walcott 2 (ironically the first fight is my favorite) Joe Louis vs Jack Sharkey (I don't even like Sharkey idk why this gets to me) Jack Johnson vs Tommy Burns And if it existed on film, I guarantee I wouldn't be able to watch Sullivan vs Corbett
I was 12 years old when I saw this fight on TV. It still sticks in my mind as the most sickening sight I have ever seen. What the hell was Ruby Goldstein doing? Just looking at a still photo of Paret pinioned in the corner is too much for me to look at.
I guess it was quite painful for fans to watch back then since De La Hoya was one of the most popular boxers in the world but judging by some of the nasty comments by posters now on the general forum about present day promoter/manager De La Hoya, maybe a lot of fans are now revising their opinions on the Pacquiao fight and are now rather pleased that De La Hoya got a beating?
Tyson vs Lewis- Tyson looked shot here and marked the true end of the Tyson era. He beats Lewis if they fought btwn 86 and 98. Jones vs Calzaghe- Jones destroys him if they fought just 3 yrs before. Hagler vs Leonard- Hagler just totally underestimated him and crazily fought in a traditional stance to prove he out box Ray.
I have made a conscious decision, never to watch a fight where somebody was killed, or maimed. I will never watch Carnera Schaff, or McClellan Benn!
u know what was tough to witch was Duran/Joppy. I couldn't believe the hard shots hitting him, if he was younger, he would have used joppy as toilet paper
Holyfield fights after Lewis 2. Dennis Andries V Tommy Hearns - massive soft spot for Andries. Any Tyson Fury fights
I'm not into seeing anything where someone gets killed or seriously injured. I've seen Paret, Owen, and Kim and don't need to ever see those fights again. Also I don't like watching has-beens take beatings or late ref stoppages. I know I say this a lot, but the C00ney vs. Norton fight really bothers me. Norton had nothing left and was getting obliterated and he was just helpless while the idiot ref just stood there watching and doing nothing. Fights like that really bother me.
The Bowe-Golota fights and many Andrew Golota bouts, frankly. A lot of unfulfilled promise in that 6-foot-4, 240-pound body.
Tyson vs Lewis ( I broke the vcr tape after the fight was over) and i wont even watch Julio Cesar Chavez vs Kosta Tyzu
