In my humble opinion Wladimir Klitschko retired too soon he still had plenty to give

    What like Sefer Seferi Seferio?

I do not view Tyson as lineal. I think it is very difficult to back that argument up.

Beat the man & you're the man. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

If Fury wins there will be a rematch with Wilder (probably in the UK). That would be in the contract.

If Wilder wins, he will need other high profile opponents. Particularly if the Joshua fight doesn't get made on terms that are to his satisfaction (i.e. 50/50). Klitschko fits the bill.

Klitschko's also talking about coming back for an historically significant fight. Re-claiming the lineal championship would be that for him.

Oh for sure but Wlad wasn’t interested as Wilder brings nothing in terms of money.

I’m happy with his retirement, but I’m confident that he would have clipped Wilder.

I think it will be interesting what history will say about the Wlad and Fury fight if Fury loses to Wilder and disappears again. I reckon it’ll go down as an off night for Wlad.

Vladimir is tall and he can punch. In this heavyweight era, you can go a long way if you have both attributes. I give him a good chance against any heavyweight fighting today.

Now being lineal champ is crap claim by Fury, he lost the titles by his own actions/inactions, he was claiming to be lineal even when not fighting.

Surely the lineal champion claim is null and void if we take Furys viewpoint, as it would have stopped upon Tunneys retirement, because Schmeling, Tunneys successor did not beat the man who beat the man.

He is so much more than that.

You are talking about Price or Wilder.

That's the trouble with most boxers. They retire only when they don't have anything left to give. By that point the damage has already been done.

Wlad retired at the perfect time.

Fury retired as lineal champion therefore the lineal championship became vacant. You can't un-retire and simply say you're lineal again.

Tyson Fury Twitter after he ducked Wlad Klitschko rematch: “Boxing is the saddest thing I ever took part in, all a pile of ****, I’m the greatest, & I’m also retired, so go suck a dick, happy days.”

He vacated his lineal status. You don't simply un-retire and regain the lineal title.

Asserting a claim to the lineage is essential to holding it.

    So of course you can.

I thought he retired too soon. He was still boxing at decent level. The Wlad that lost to Joshua would have beaten Fury.

I mean I would pick him confidently over everyone outside Joshua, Fury and Wilder and even then he could beat those 3 he had nothing to prove

I dont think he was interested in playing gatekeeper over someone elses division and when he realized he wasnt going to be champ anymore he got out
