Ryan Martin just didn't belong in the same as ring as Josh Taylor. Taylor too fast, too strong, moves and uses angles so well, puts snappy punchers together brilliantly, one of the better body punchers out there. I think he sets the pace against Prograis and doesn't let him in it. Should now be the decided fave to win the tourney.
So obvious according to who? You? Probably someone who dislikes him? Doubt he's scared of either of them.
Both Martin and the referee saw a way out of this one sided beating. For once I'm happy for a british stoppage.
Vic earned his money there stopping the fight like that. Surprised he didn't get Taylor in a headlock like the Groves vs Froch stoppage.
As dominant as Taylor was, you don't stop the fight off a rabbit punch when the guy's head's outside the ropes.
The issue is Taylor looks like this against mediocre opposition but when he stepped up he barely scraped by. He just looks very aesthetically pleasing and he dominates mediocre opposition so easily that I think it can be deceiving. I'm very excited for the Prograis fight though. I also think Prograis is overrated but the winner of that fight definitely makes a huge statement and should be the clear #1 at 140. Winner should fight Ramirez.
Not having a good year,Sanchez. Guess the new way of making money now is find out who’s being trained by him and then bet on the other guy.
Stoppage was quite slippery but it was only going one way, hell Abel wanted it over after 2-3 rounds lol.
