The thinking's Roman's pretty similar to Miura and some other Berchelt opponents, who lasted with Berchelt. I think highly of Berchelt but I don't think he stops world class guys. But I almost forgot who Roman is. He's slow as molasses and his career is made of back and forth brawls against mid-level opposition. His toughness and chin will keep him from being blown out, but his lack of skill should mean he loses every round badly. Maybe he lasts half way through the 10th, but at least slightly more likely Berchelt dominates early then beats him enough to stop him before that. So no bet. Going with a small Marriaga/Berchelt/Barrera parlay at steep odds instead. Even if that cuts some of my loss I'm accepting a losing day today. I'll wait till next week to recoup, with Usyk who should be a 1/20 fave instead of 1/7.
Some 20-14 Jose Estrella, who's lost badly against anyone recognisable. He's the setup for Marriaga. At feather.
Watching Taylor work live tonight was something else. Special fighter, I have no doubts. He'll pick Baranchyk apart. Prograis will be a great fight. Taylor looked in 1st-2nd gear tonight, beautiful performance.
