Think Burnett injured himself in the 3rd. Watched it back and in his corner after round 3 he says something about his hip I think and 'I can't throw it', meaning some type of shot. Looks like whatever it was went in Round 4, his output in that round was very low also, so probably a reason why.
The WBSS night was really a damp squib with Williams fighting an injured fighter then being shafted by Loughlin and cronies, the Burnett injury and Martin turning out to be worse than Charles Martin. Warden will be thinking he is still relevant after watching this tonight.
I don’t know if it was mentioned last night but listening to the cornerman instead of watching **** adverts was a bonus.
Re: TV rights it seems that there is interest from broadcasters but the WBSS values the rights higher than the average televised card as they produce everything in house and therefore incur costs. In layman’s terms they want more money because they are providing a finished product to a broadcaster and not just the rights to show a card. Kalle stated this last night to iFL- it seems no UK broadcaster will be found this season if this is their stance.
I have to disagree with that @moog, I have dealt with Robert on numerous occasions and found him quite helpful and willing to do what he can to sort issues out too.
I suppose it is one of those things where you can only judge someone on how they have treated you personally. I know lots of people that I think are d#cks but everyone seems to like them haha
