Kessler was wobbled by a feather fisted Calzaghe so if Miranda can land a bomb on Kessler's chin then it's lights out for Kessler :tired!
kesslers ringmovement is VERY good, miranda attacks constantly-but forget to box,so he is open all night!! i think miranda would be hit so often, and hard, that he wouldnt last 12 rounds. but miranda can knock out people!!!! so kessler should be on he´s toe´s. i still says kessler tko before 11.
every boxer can be hit with a bodyshot and get wobbled, but what does that has to do with the boxers chinatsch kessler has shown he has a pretty good chin and has never ever been down in his hole carrer but miranda has been knocked down so your numbers doesnt really add up now do they:huh :hi:
I think Kessler would beat Miranda similar to Pavliks win over Miranda to me Kessler is over all well rounded much more so than Miranda, Sorry guys but foot work is a big part of this game, so is snapping your shots Miranda has trouble with both. I hope he proves me wrong come Saturday night but the way I see it, Mirandas biggest win is over Howard Eastman, a guy William Joppy beat are you with me so far? Not only that but his biggest claim to fame in recent fights is the damage he was able to do to another man during a loss similar to the Klitschko Lewis situation.
It depends ... if Kessler elects to brawl then yes Miranda can beat him, but if he chooses to use his jab and box from the outside then maybe. I know that the two times that Miranda lost was because the guys he fought had backed him up ... it'll be interesting to see Miranda in there against a pure stand up boxer.
How so? Both are straight ahead, stand up, euro style fighters. I don't see much difference between the two. And AA took a bad beating from Miranda in the first fight, win or lose. Cheers Tom
I do not think Miranda has more than a punchers chance against Kessler. That being said, I also doubt very much that Kessler could "take the Pavlik route" to victory. Pavlik basically climbed in the ring and used his brute strength and puching power to tell Miranda "**** you! you ain't the baddest bully on the block, I am." Kessler would most likely settle for boxing Edison's ears off. However, in spite of all the shenanigans, I think Kessler's people were smart not to take Edison on as Mikkel's first fight after a loss. This is the world of boxing. The same world where Hearns made Duran look like some pug, Iran Barkley starched Tommy Hearns, Vilomar Fernandez OUT BOXED Alexis Arguello, and more recently Brian Vera beat the Irish off Andy Lee. ANYTHING can happen.
AA got a gift :deal AA fought in spurts. How can you even count that. Pavlik backs everyone up with his power at one time or another.
No. Punchers always have a chance, but Kessler's defense/footwork is too good, and will tag Pantera with combinations and get out of range before Miranda has a chance to respond with his crude, but powerful punches.
:huh Are you watching with your eyes open? Abraham is primarily a come forward fighter, an extremely powerful puncher, who is also lazy and fights in little bursts. Kessler mostly stands his ground, and is content to counter and work behind a consistent jab They are not similar fighters.
Miranda wouldn't last 8 rounds, fight would be so one sided and he has poor stamina. How many counters can he take from a good, accurate puncher like Kessler who has him in the speed department 10 fold?
Exactly, he's a B level fighter, Kessler dominated every B level fighter badly that he fought. Dominated two much better fighters than Miranda in Mundine and Andrade, bouts scored 10-2 and 12-0 respectively. Andrade can ****ing punch, landed little, when he landed, Kessler didn't blink. Where is Miranda's chance? Where is his chance to last 12 with his bad stamina and Kessler's speed/accuracy and power? They don't know what they are talking about.
