Rumour Joe Joyce knocked out while sparring Tyson Fury

I start a new one then. The people viewing got knocked out cold watching Tyson and Joe spar.

 

The rumour was the other way around.

Irrelevant either way. We'll likely never find out. If we do, it'll be after the fight.

 

I'm thinking of his upcoming bout in more philosophical terms. If a title bout happens and nobody is there to see it can the championship change hands?

 

Why would it be a surprise that a fighter with no guard whatsoever and depends on just a good engine and primative shots getting knocked out in sparring against a boxer in sparring such a shock
anyway?

How on earth anyone can rate Joyce as a potential force in the world elite is deluded and I mean seriously deluded...,, at the moment Gorman/Dubois/Tyson/Chisora/Whyte/Bellew/Hughie all beat him and that’s just UK fighters.

 

Disagree. A lot of people write him off because his style isn't very pretty but it is very, very effective. He's so strong and relentless he'd be a nightmare for anyone at heavyweight & to say most of those fighters definitely beat him is ludicrous imo.

 

Where did the rumour start?

 

He's come on leaps and bounds from then though he went on to win an olympic silver getting robbed in the final. A few good fighters have been sparked in the amateurs especially heavyweights eg. Joshua and Wilder the only 2 with the HW belts atm.

Good. Tyson must actually be sitting down on his shots in the run up to fighting Wilder.

Joyce is far too easy to hit and even though he’s a big strong guy he’s going to get timed for fun when he eventually steps up and it’s not really a shock that he’d struggle against Tyson.
