Turd lost to Lara. Was being outboxed by Trout and Harrison. He's a weight bully who's overdue for a schooling and/or brutal KO loss.
It was absolutely close, but clear that Hurd was the winner for sure. The correct score in my opinion was 115-112 Hurd. He didn't need the knockdown to win
I like Hurd over Charlo by late stoppage as well. Not ready to say anybody north of Charlo ducks him, however.
Hurd gets hit too much. Too many banking on Charlo to get worn down like he's some type of savage beast who just attacks and knows nothing else. He knows how to box and pace himself if need be. Hurd also is banking on Charlo not being ready for strong resistance but hope ain't enough in boxing. Should be a good fight if it happens.
The only way Charlo is going to stop Hurd wearing him down is to stop him coming forward. He has to hurt him and back him up. Charlo is not a defensive wizard that's for sure lol. I also believe he doesn't have the pop to keep Hurd off him. Hurd is a much harder fight than Charlo has ever been in, I'm not sure the other way round tbh.
I think it'll go the distance. But Hurd getting hit consistently enough to lose too many rounds. That's my thinking.
Wether you’re a fan or not the guy has explosive KO power,Trout and Lara are not the same as Charlo and Hurd can’t just keep walking through punches off him as it would be mental. In any case I’m not sure Hurd would be stupid enough to try that.
