WBC should strip Keith Thurman's World Championship Belt

He did not fight anyone over a year. How can he be the WBC World Champion without defending his world title?

Have you heard anything from him? What is he going to do or what is happening to him now ? You know anything?

 

We Be Atrocious are the worst of the ABC orgs by far , which is saying something. So i wouldn't expect them to do anything sensible.

Fury was stripped within a week of one his, Drozd was stripped real quick when he had an injury,etc.

 

Alexander Besputin is ranked number 1 by the WBA, and Jessie Vargas is 2. It should be those two fighting for a vacant title. Besputin would beat Vargas with ease! and would probably KO him .

 

If Thurman is truly injured, then he should be able to keep his belt. There should be an "interim" champion(In WBA's case it's the "regular").
I ****ing hate it when fighters get stripped because they are injured. it's complete BS.

Then again the belts are complete BS! I ****ing hate them with a passion.

 

He's been out for 20 months!! (1 year 8 months). They can't wait for him forever! The show has to go on. Thurman must be their special boy.

 

The WBA don´t care because they have other belts. They are sticking to Thurman because Thurman is a big draw. If he comes back, the WBA will get paid.
But an injury should not be grounds for stripping a champion. Nothing wrong with having an interim champ. The show goes on.

 

let them fight for the real belt he's number one contender if and when he comes back

 

Remember when the WBC allowed Mayweather to hang on to Clenelo’s super welterweight strap for a full two years even though Floyd had no intention of ever defending it?

It wasn’t so long ago and it was literally twice as bad as the situation with Thurman.

I said We Be Atrocious (WBA). The op got the wrong belt in the title since WBA haven't stripped Thurman but WBC have.

We Be Corrupt (WBC) are bad, very bad but not quite as terrible as WBA, like you say with their ridiclous fake belts.
