Can't remember that one. If Prograis manages to get past Rellikh, I can see him pulling out of the tournament rather than face Josh Taylor - the way the Tartan Tornado hardman mentally and physically destroyed the young American lad was like bullying, I doubt Prograis wants that Tartan smoke.

    Tete ducked Rigondeaux

Tete was calling out Rigo, yet when the fight was offered to him Tete turned it down saying Rigo was too big for him - when it was only 4lbs up! - and despite having a 6 inch height advantage (Tete is 5ft 9 and Rigo is 5ft 3)and 7 inch reach advantage over Rigo Lol! Tete got exposed badly there, that was very embarrassing and a clear duck.

Selective memory. Postol was supposed to fight Prograis but lost his nuts and pulled out. So Prograis destroyed Indongo instead.

Taylor is Groves light. Prograis is going to make Tartar sauce out of him.

Not really a duck if you read the original interview. He said he would challenge Rigondeaux down the line but he had just moved up to 118. For whatever reason that interview was quoted without that full context by other media outlets who ran with Tete wants Rigondeaux fight. Tete may have been having a spat with Warren at the time. He had just destroyed Warren's new cabin boy Paul Butler. Warren then forced Tete to 118, instead of getting him fights against Estrada, Gonzalez etc. Besides a 115 pounder who just moved to bantam, can't duck a 122 pounder. They aren't in the same weight class.

I doubt that's true lol. Indogno - man he was a terrible fighter. Beating a glass jawed Indongo and beating Josh Taylor are two entirely different things!. I can't see anyone stopping Taylor bullying his way through this tournament and becoming a top 10 P4Per :)

it's just a poxy, measly 4lbs!! And like I said Tete is bigger than Rigo. I can't believe you can even attempt to make excuses for it! Tete was using Rigos name for publicity. He got his wish and he ducked him - one of the most hilarious blatant ducks in recent years, he knew he'd get embarrassed by Rigo

I disagree on DLH/Margarito. However, I do think Oscar avoided Forrest and Winky.

Guess you could say Frampton ducked Rigo, but there were bigger money fights out there for Carl at the time so I do feel the ducking allegations are maybe harsh in that case

Three of the 4 Kings, SRL/Duran/Hearns, swerved Mike McCallum.

    Mares/LSC/Frampton ducked Rigo.

    LSC/Frampton/Selby ducked Gary Russell Jr.

Not sure how a guy who just moved up to 118 can duck a 122 pounder. As I said previously, read the original interview, he clearly said Rigondeaux would be a challenge he'd like after he got used to 118 and got his body stronger. Warren was probably behind the partial quote being peddled to several news outlets. He was still smarting from Tete destroying Paul Butler, who Warren was unnaturally fond of.

Your excuses are really pathetic, What is wrong with you, Are you autistic or something? or just chronically butthurt. Tete was a 114 fighter who was calling out Rigo, Rigo called his bluff, said OK let's fight and Tete ran for the hills! LOL. despite having HUGE height and reach advantages over Rigo! It really wasn't a good look for Tete.

I never even mentioned Butler. Tete did send me to sleep a few times not gonna lie, he's not exactly the most excicting fighter to watch is he, man that Narvaez fight was one of the most boring fights I've ever seen! Are you upset over Tete getting KO'd by Mthalane, and having losses to unknown Argentinian and Mexican Cab drivers, and getting a gift decision over a 4 fight novice in his last fight :D

How are these forgotten? Ten years ago about half the threads on this site were about one or the other.

Because many individuals here still deny Lewis ducked the rematch.

And you’d be surprised how many forget Bowe did the trash drop with the belt.

Unbelievable as it is Fury ducking Price, it happened, Fury went and fought for the Irish title but this seems to be forgotten now Fury has moved on to beat Klitschko, still unbeaten and is fighting Wilder.

Fury also ducked Ustinov after seeing him at a weigh in, he said something like "they are trying to stitch me up.."

Fury also pulled out of the Klitschko rematch and recently said no matter what happens he will NEVER fight AJ.

Hmmm Fury is a little bit of a avoider/ducker, this don't seem to be mentioned as much as it probably should be.
