Nelson had to eat monumental amounts of humble pie. He couldn’t bring himself to say he was wrong and he was towing the line big time pre-fight.

Haye looked like he was at a funeral.

    Macklin was spot on.

Froch is literally clueless. He knows nothing from a fan/commentary perspective. And he has the personality of a house brick.

Bring back Watt, McCrory, put Nelson in the studio, get Smith away from the game in general and give Moore more airtime.

It was as if Usyk didn’t exist! Brutal knockout in his opponents back yard, yet it was the Bellew show. And Hearn called him an “ATG”? Jesus.

I honestly used to scratch my head at fans who used to put fights on mute. I get it, but I could certainly do it when sky put the boxing on.

It's too much now, I can't bare it. Froch is the Michael Owen of boxing punditry. No personality or knowledge.

Matchroom get a lot of stick but I think it's actually sky doing the damage. Everything is calculated and scripted. It's a tragedy and it's ruining what could be a great thing.

Indeed all topped off with that weirdo Adam Smith getting over excited with the crowd whenever Bellew throw a punch.

Malignaggi was the only one talking sense, at one point he even said something about how they can’t just give Tony rounds because he landed one shot after Froch was getting giddy saying Bellew had won a round he had clearly lost

    Froch is Bellews good mate
and Haye wanted Bellew to win so his losses don't look as bad.

Overly biased. Malignaggi was the only one talking sense.

So true. I don’t buy his magnanimous approach to his two losses.
Inside he still reckons he’s better than Bellew. Just towing the Bellew love-in line when he’s on Sky.

Hang on a minute chaps this was British fighter, fighting in britain with a mainly British commonentary team and a massive British crowd.

Bellew was an underdog coming in against one of the best. Of course it was the tony Bellew show, that's what us brits do when we have someone who's back Is against the wall we get behind them and back them to the hilt.

All the commentary team acknowledged how great usyk was but the fact is for the first 4-5 rounds at least Bellew was matching him. So yes everyone's going to get a bit excited and I agree a few of them did score a few rounds a bit off but a lot of the early rounds were pretty close. I had usyk 1 up before the knock down.

Some on here are equally as biased towards usyk and had him 3-4 up and refuse to give Bellew any credit and just wanted to see him lose.

The reality is the fight was pretty close on the score cards, Bellew looked good early then usyk took over and if the k.o hadn't come you could only have seen usyk start to cruise to a points win.

    Spot on.

Although I did find the in round scoring annoying. I can take partisanship but at points last night it went over the top. Good on Malignaggi for bringing a dose of reality when (Haye I think?) was just way off.

Adam Smith saying that finish came out of the blue, like Usyk was getting schooled and then landed a lucky punch.
