Yeah but Evander beat heavies and I think he was just a superior athlete in general, obviously he was enhanced but hey this is boxing where apparently doping doesn't seem to matter.
Genuinely have my jaw on the floor seeing how many favour Holyfield here... I bet most people haven't even seen Holyfield fight more than twice and take into account he broke Mike Tyson so he automatically must be levels above Usyk. Usyk beats Holyfield at CW and at HW, and it wouldn't be his hardest night in the ring either.
Styles make fights! Holyfield struggled MASSIVELY, and I mean MASSIVELY against southpaws. Inferior Michael Moorer beat Holyfield the first time around. Sultan Ibragimov and Chris Byrd beat Holyfield too, although he was past it by then. In Usyk, he'd be facing the most killed southpaw out of any southpaw he has ever faced. And Holyfield doesn't have a very good track record against southpaws.
I was very impressed with that Usyk last night. Was expecting a pitty pat performance. I still got Holyfield edging it. But it's alot closer now. Usyk needs to stop wasting his time at cruiser, at step up to the big boys league. Challenge and beat the real WBO champion Andy Ruiz Jr, to prove his worth!
You need to match Usyk with conditioning and workrate to beat him and Holyfield could certainly do that. If Bellew can win 4 rounds , Vander can definitely win 8. Not many , if any CWs would beat Usyk . If any guy can do it its Holyfield.
I think people go way overboard with Evan Fields. He might be losing large chunks of his career to failed drugs tests should he be around now.
