Usyk has had a pretty good run. Beating Stevenson's son isn't that big of an accomplishment though. Usyk faced better opposition in the WBSS, and prior to it. He's definitely in the running for fighter of the year, and he should get it before Canelo, Lomachenko, or Crawford. Inoue is still there though.

Well he looked like he was out of gas after about 5 rounds.

Fair play to Inoue, I forgot about that little terror. Still it is Usyk for me because he does it on the road not only in opponents home nations but in some cases in their very city of residence. Liverpool is less than an hour from Manchester so I count that as a home city fight for Bellew.

    Lol it’s odd isn’t it?
I just remind myself that we’re on a forum and that you get folk who are un subjective about boxing, thing is they genuinely believe they know more than those who do it professionally.

I feel the same way. People were giving Bellew rounds simply because he was 'in the fight' despite the fact that he was losing.

    It's a little comical.

Honestly Matchroom WWE came into effect..

Hearns new "Road to AJ" cash cow was never going to lose but in respect to his old charge Usyk was told to go a bit easy on Bellow just to make him look respectable..

BUT in order to pump up Usky as a legitimate threat to AJ he was always going to have a highlight ko to get the casuals interested...

If only Wilder played by the rules he could have been a rich man like Usyk is going to be....

He was out of gas, yoyoying in weight at 35 yo is Always a recipe for disaster for stamina, punch resistance etc, it ****s the body. Bellew did very well considering. Usyk just beat a very good but drained fighter.

This isn't the same Bellew from a couple years ago. All I'm saying. Don't act like Usyk just beat a prime Bellew. This was a Bellew that thought he was cashing out against David Haye, and got lucky that Haye was injured, and past it.

Three days past the fight and bellew still has no shut up. How bad would it have been if he won? Stupid people still patting his head and stroking his ego for being outperformed against Usyk by Michael Hunter.

Why does Bellew not just go home to his family that he constantly talks about instead of boring me to death with tales of the Usyk fight. Imagine that guys family having to endure his constant arrogant ramblings? I was going to say Usyk did boxing a favor by retiring that blow hard but he seems to be talking now more than ever.

Bellew is like taht poster quertyblahblah except it's Bellewblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah..........

A very average fighter who was lucky enough to be in a movie. Fought a terrible version of David Haye twice and had no chance against Usyk.
