I see Plant pulling off a 8-4, 7-5 type decision. He's going to land the crisper cleaner counter punches but Uzcategui will be pressuring and throwing more.
I concur Sweet Hands Plant is gonna beat the breaks off Uzi but,....its gonna be a boxing match. I don't underestimate the man that has been on a tear through a tough division. I actually wish Ward was still around to clean the entire group up.
certainly possible....plant is a bit of a cutie. and uzcategui is not (yet) a dominant champ. but i still pick uzcategui. his power is far suprior and he has shown the ability to catch up to awkward movers. i pick him to stop plant late.
Uzcategui may be too big too strong and too physical for plant. I see plant doing well and winning some rounds but I don't think he will be able to handle the sustained pressure uzcategui will put for 12 solid rounds. Rooting for plant though.

Plant would probably get ****ed up by the shot version of Dirrell that Uzcategui destroyed, he's a cut rate hypejob, there's a reason he hasn't stepped up yet, his power is subpar, will have virtually zero effect on guys with a decent chin Jose's is very solid, his ring IQ isn't next level. Not saying Jose is the second coming or anything, but he's just too big, too strong, punches too hard, cuts off the ring too well and has an impressive enough punch selection to get the very fragile looking Plant out of there before the final bell.
