Tell me some fighters who you think have similar styles except for a small detail or two...or maybe one guy is just better at everything.

I would call Joshua Clottey a poor man's version of Dick Tiger.

The interesting thing about siblings Mikey and Robert Garcia is how similar the two are. Its interesting because of the major age gap between the two. It was like in that decade between Robert's retirement and Mikey emergence the family produced a perfected version of Robert, with better durability, stamina, etc. I actually think extremely highly of Robert's career in the ring, but chin and a tendancy to lose focus cost him big time. Mikey has a great chin and unlimited focus :)

Sergio Martinez was like the deluxe version of Carlos Quintana.

Rogers Mtagwa was like a poor man's Orlando Salido. This one is interesting because they both had several common opponents, as well as a very similar skillset/style. Mtagwa's success in the last three rounds against Juan Manuel Lopez probably really inspired Salido's blue print for beating Lopez a few fights later.

Matthew Hatton always reminded me a bit of a lesser version of Bronco McCart

Lomachenko is like a (radically) upgraded version of Lucien Bute

GGG is a lot like Kostya Tszyu. Although GGG accomplished quite a bit more out of respect for Tszyu I wouldn't say either is a poor man version.

I’ve always felt Yuh is like a mini-not-nearly-as-good Chavez.

I think the same about Barrera these days. Chavez minus the right hand, unbreakable chin and defence against straight punches. Roughly speaking of course.
