    Just unbelievable !!

Is there a more unprofessional boxer in the world?
He had a disagreement with his trainer last week and he decided he was no longer going over to Spain with Gavin.

Now apparently Gavin is scared of flying so he travelled by ferry which took him over 24 hours and he didnt arrive till 12 hours before the weigh in !!

    What the actual **** comical!!

To be frank its not really important to him whether he is over weight by 5 pounds, as he is going to be completely dismantled and stopped in less 5 rounds.

So its hardly going to be a case of him missing out on winning the title.

Frankie should hang them up. Boxing isnt a game and 33 isnt the age to be playing. I hope he has savings and another career already lined up.

He should have travelled on the originally planned ferry one week before the fight, regardless of falling out with his trainer. How stupid.

Is it though...I think he's been overrated from day 1 of his pro career. He's someone I believe that is somewhere in between Domestic and European level, but his Amateur success would lead you to believe he was destined for the top ! He was just never as good as people thought

With more dedication he would certainly have been better. Don't think he would have been world class though against the top men.

As great an amateur as he was, Gavin mastered the 4x2 minute rounds by building a lead and running in the last round.

I don't feel he would have had the same success in the 3x3 minute format like now where you have to dominate rounds more.

    Again waste of talent though.

For a start he’d be a lightweight if he lived the life.

I always thought the same Super Lightweight or Lightweight. Surely be could have campaigned in a lower weight class.

Not the first man to be afraid of flying - remember the great Denise Bergkamp.

Many people simply shyte themselves and the terrorist threat makes this worse nowadays for planes.

After the recent events in Leicester, I personally would not be in a rush to go on a helicopter.

Exactly, and hes come in way over weight at a weight or 2 above his natural weight. He's getting pulverized tonight I think !

You have a chance in a plane if it fails, slim, but a chance...I couldn't get in to something that has no chance if the engine fails, your dropping without any chance of survival in a Helicopter..I actually think the ****ing things are dangerous and shouldn't be allowed over populated areas
